My first experience as a volunteer at the hostel couldn't be better! Mati and Esteban are very kind and helpful people They really make this place feel like home for everyone. I felt very safe as a solo women traveler. Also the location of the hostel is perfect (close to the beaches, the shops, bus stations,…). The work here is very chill we clean every day all together and I did shift of reception but the owners are always around to help. If you look for a place to da volunteering in Chile you should definitely come to the hostel! Gracias Mati and Esteban para todo Nos vemos :)

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it could not have been better! Mati & Esteban welcomed me like family from the start. The work and schedule was great and there was a lot to do in the area during my free time. I had so much fun during my time at the hostel. I made many friends and memories I’ll never forget!

My first volunteer experience with Worldpackers was incredibly positive! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and quickly felt at home. The atmosphere at the hostel is fantastic, thanks especially to Este and Mati, who are lovely, always helpful, and very attentive. 🔆 The tasks include one hour of daily cleaning, several reception shifts, and one night shift, all in a friendly and supportive environment. Also, Viña del Mar is charming and chill. I highly recommend this experience!

I had the best time at the hostel! The work is easy (1-2hrs cleaning everyday and some shifts at the reception) and the hostel is really nice and also well located. There's a lot to do in and around Vina so you won't get bored. Mati and Este are chill, kind and loving people which was one of the reasons a had a great time as a volunteer there. You also meet a lot of international travellers and its a great place to make new friends. Thank u!!

I had a great time at Jaguar Hostel :) Malena (the other volunteer), Esteban and Mathi really made the hostel feel like my home for the month staying here!
The work in the hostel is easy and well explained, and Esteban and Mathi are always available to help. Viña is a great place to stay and relax - the area always felt super safe and well taken care of.

I had to end my volunteer experience earlier than planned because I went through a situation that made me feel very uncomfortable and out of place. I didn't feel safe or confident enough to stay. It's a shame, as the atmosphere seemed positive at first, but what happened completely changed my experience. This was my personal experience, and I believe it's important to share it honestly.

We had to end the experience due to unprofessional work and a failure to meet expectations, duties, and responsibilities within the hostel. She was always 100% supported throughout her time with us. Regarding the aforementioned awkward situation, all evidence was handed over to the Worldbackpackers team.

Thank you for the time I was able to stay with you! Matia and Esti always had great recommendations on what to do with your free time and throughout my stay there were also events at the hostel going on, where travellers and locals came together. You clean everyday of your stay, but the shifts at the reception are super easy and offer times you're just an extra set of hands. This is really a great place for first time volunteers 🧚🏼

I loved my experience at the hostel ! I recommend it :)Viña and the area nearby are amazing, the hostel is close to the beach and small so it is easy to meet the international travelers!! You can really feel at home there. Concerning the volunteering, the work is simple. Every day you do the cleaning and make the beds around 11a.m for 1.5h. You also have a reception shift, but the owners are really nice and flexible, so it is often shorter. The only downside is that the breakfast is not fully included, but you have free stuff and money. Thank you again Este and Matti! I'll be back one day

This hostel was a great experience, and the owners were nothing more than absolutely amazing. It is a place that quickly feels like home, and I cannot recommend it enough. The hostel itself is located very central, and in walking distance of everything you could need. I had a wonderful time here

The hostel was my first time as a volunteer, and it couldn't be better. The atmosphere in the hostel is very familiar, everbody welcomed me so friendly and loving when I got there. The two hosts Matias and Esteban are so nice and relaxed. Also the tasks were very easy to do and I still had a lot of time to explore Viña and Valpo! I made a lot of new friends during my stay, sometimes we had great Barbecues in the evening and in general I had a great great time! the hostel feels like a second home to me now and I cant wait to come back! Matias and Esteban, Thank you for everything!
