Jaguar Hostel + Living
Hi, I'm Matias, a local surfer for 15 +++ years and together with my brother Esteban we are the owners of the hostel.
We are a Small hostel but , with a Very big heart :) we invite you to be part of our family business, of our passion, you will feel at home, because once you arrive you are at home away from home and part of the team to , we are proud to be the best hostel in the Valparaiso region - viña del mar town . our hostel is located in the heart of the residential / tourist sector of the city of Viña del Mar.
P.S.: It is important to maintain communication because, that shows us how interested you are, if you do not respond to our messages, we will dismiss the request
My brother and I make up the team, and together with the other volunteers, we feel like a family. All volunteers will be treated with respect and a lot of good vibes!
We have discounts at restaurants ( 8 places ) in our area, free entry to clubs ( 4 clubs ) , and discounts on rentals and surf lessons :)

The place is very cozy, Matías and Esteban are very good hosts. They were very kind to me. The support schedule is very accessible so you can get to know the place well, the barbecues are delicious and their mom is super lovely and kind as well❤️ It was my first volunteering and it gave me a very good experience. My first experience as a volunteer at the hostel couldn't be better! Mati and Esteban are very kind and helpful people They really make this place feel like home for everyone. I felt very safe as a solo women traveler. Also the location of the hostel is perfect (close to the beaches, the shops, bus stations,…). The work here is very chill we clean every day all together and I did shift of reception but the owners are always around to help. If you look for a place to da volunteering in Chile you should definitely come to the hostel! Gracias Mati and Esteban para todo Nos vemos :)

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it could not have been better! Mati & Esteban welcomed me like family from the start. The work and schedule was great and there was a lot to do in the area during my free time. I had so much fun during my time at the hostel. I made many friends and memories I’ll never forget!

My experience volunteering at this hostel was really very good. From the first day you can see the care and dedication of Mati and Esteban with good energy, always present and attentive to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic. It’s a place where you can rest, but also easily connect with other people. The days go by on their own between the beach, cards, barbecues, and good conversations.
There is good organization, respect and support, which makes the volunteering experience comfortable and enriching. I leave grateful, with good memories. Thank you!
