It was a truly wonderful experience. The whole family is incredibly caring, loving, and genuinely welcoming, which made me feel at home from the very first moment. The food was delicious and prepared with so much attention to detail. On top of that, the place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. I can only recommend staying here. It exceeded all my expectations. I will definitely come back!

I stayed at the farm for one month. Heyner and his whole family was really welcoming and friendly even before I arrived. If you stay here you will be surrounded by nature 24/7 it is an amazing experience. Working hours where always respected and everyone was expressing their thankfulness, so I really felt appreciated for the work I was putting in. Two things to be aware of: you need some basic Spanish knowledge to make your stay easier, also some of the everyday tasks can be challenging in terms of physical strength. I had no problem with this at all, just be aware. Loved my time there!

We really loved our 2 weeks stay here! I was always reading kind of reviews that the volunteers felt like in family, however I never tought it can really happening but as we arrived we felt really like in a family from the first second till we left the farm! Heyner and Jenny are the most welcoming and true hearted people whit whom we met during our world trip(since 10 months). Regarding the farm, it is so beautiful full of wildlife and some adorable dogs cats, horses, etc. You can get there a real farm experience! We really felt in love with this farm and left a peace of our heart there❤

Hello Daniel and Klaudia were with us and were proactive. They helped us a lot in all aspects, with the animals, with the plants, the guests on the farm! They were super excellent 👌 we really appreciate their time here. A greeting from all of us. Pura vida.

Staying at the farm is an incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone. The family exude warmth, positivity, and gratitude for all that they have. They welcome volunteers in and quickly make you feel a part of the family. The farm is beautiful and I found it interesting to learn about the hard work that goes into the daily upkeep. The work can be difficult at times due to the heat, but it is rewarding to see tangible progress each day. I would recommend that future volunteers pack long sleeve shirts, long trousers, and closed toe shoes/socks, this will help decrease bug bites.

Hello everyone, we would like to write a review of Mariana's stay at our farm. She was very hardworking and helped us with all the tasks given and beyond. Thank you, Mariana, greetings from her home in Costa Rica.

I felt very welcomed and had a nice sleeping arrangement in separate quarters from the family which was so cool to share with other volunteers. I surprised that one of the hosts had good English, that was helpful because I don't speak Spanish. But I also got to learn alot of new words! I got to work with the goats so did a couple of hours in the morning and afternoon, mostly a really cool job! They cook amazing food and make fresh juice often from their own fruit trees. The place is an animal paradise, often saw monkeys, heaps of birds, squirrels. Lovely experience! Pura Vida alright!!

Yelah is a very nice and reliable person and the quality of her work was perfect. She really cared about our goats and was well integrated into the family. We really enjoyed having her on our farm and highly recommend her.

It was a great experience! On the Farm I really experienced the local living in Costa Rica. The tasks are not to difficult and the time schedule is not really strict. I would recommend to already speak Spanish, because most of the people living there can't speak English. But it's also possible to communicate if you don't speak Spanish.

Loved the farm. Heyner and Jenny were both so kind and treated us like family. The food Jenny cooked was absolutely delicious. The photos of the place don't do it justice, it's a serene and gorgeous place completely immersed in wildlife and flora. You work about 2 hours in the morning, then about 2 more at 4pm. Lots of free time in the middle of the day. Main tasks are taking care of the goats and cows. All animals here are very sweet. Amazing stay for cultural immersion, family, and connection with nature and animals.

Heyner speaks a good amount of English but I would definitely recommend knowing Spanish. Jenny cooks 3 meals a day and they are always fabulous. Heyner and his family are extremely giving and sweet, we even enjoyed karaoke with them once or twice. You do have a lot of free time as work was done in the morning for 2 hours and later around 5 o'clock for two hours with the rest being free time. It's a great way to immerse yourself in Costa Rican culture and meet other travelers who are staying at the lodge from all over! Great experience for all!

I had an amazing time at the farm. Heyner and Jenny are so kind and welcoming, he has lots of stories and she cooks really delicious food. The tasks are mostly helping with the cows and goats; feed them, give them water, move them around. You do not work in the middle of the day, as it is very hot, only in the morning and anfternoon. There is no shop nearby, so I recommend to bring snacks if you need, and you have a lot of free time, so bring a good book. You have a privat room. Spanish is not a must as Heyner speaks english, but it helps to know a couple of words. Def recommend the farm!

Thank you, Jun. Your experience for us was incredible; your youth, your strength, and your training were impressive.
It's a pity that she left; we still miss her here.
Thank you very much for your support and collaboration on the farm.
