Hostel Bad Salzig is a small hostel for up to eight guests. Right next to the Hostel there are eight alpacas you are also very welcome to help with (checking hay and water, mucking out or join guided tours). In summer and holiday season it can get quite busy, in the hostel as well as with the alpacas. That means there are always new people to meet and talk to. Nevertheless you'll have plenty of time to explore the region on your own.

The experience was very good. The tasks were explained clearly from the beginning, and they could be completed in a short amount of time, which left you with most of the day free. Andy was always willing to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend this volunteer experience.

I really enjoyed my stay in Boppard Bad Salzig. It's a beautiful town surrounded by nature. The volunteering activities are very well explained in the guidebook, and Andreas is extremely kind.

Just do it! And come here. You are gonna have a great experience: connect with nature. Lovely place to stay. Easy \"work\". Near of many beautiful places. \nWork: 2h per day maximum. \nSocial: it's a quite place but there are travelers.\nCommunication: perfect. You can ask when you dont know sth to Andreas, he will be always nice.\nLocation: 20 minutes from Koblenz. But take the train and be soon in any village or big city.\nSport: it's perfect to go for a walk and enjoy amazing views.\nYou can visit with Linda and the hostel, too!\nI highly recommend having this experience. It feels like home.

I stayed in Bad Salzig for 25 days. It was my 1st volunteer experience, and I simply loved every single moment of it.
The Village is gorgeous, surrounded by nature and with quick access to the surrounding villages/towns. It is an amazing place to have a slow life and to be in contact with nature and new people.
Andreas is a great host. He always offers support, he explains everything well and is very polite. The hostel has everything we need and the job is simple.
The alpacas are great and funny. The tour is an unforgettable experience and Linda was perfect at it. I hope I get back some day!
