This is my first World Packers experience and nothing short of amazing! Corina and Ryan operate a beautiful property that comes with the work to take care of it. Truthfully, they make the experience very educational and enjoyable and you really get a taste of authentic island life here. Between connecting with guests and locals attending events at the property to cooking fresh recipes daily, learning about the ocean and ecosystems, facing fears one may have, the games books and direct access to private paradise, I genuinely couldn't recommend this experience enough and hope to come again!

My work exchange experience was absolutely amazing! I learned so much about island life, St. Croix, the USA, construction and marine life. :) I went snorkeling almost daily in the incredibly clear ocean. The accommodation, food and pool were amazing. Work can be tough but very rewarding, and I learned many new skills. Be prepared to sweat! My favorite part was meeting so many amazing people. I'll never forget the board games, day trips, night snorkeling, hikes and conversations. Ryan & Corina are among the most interesting and inspiring people I've met, and I hope to see them again one day!

This was my very first volunteer experience, and could not have asked for a better place to begin. the Center is a beautiful place by the sea, full of history, stories and memories.. The love behind this project have transformed it into true paradise, What made this experience unforgettable was the people. What an experience! Obviously you're in paradise working in st croix, being a stone throw away from snorkelling at the beach, use of a swimming pool or a gorgeous sunset but really what Ryan & Corina have going on is what makes it next level. Their commitment to sustainability is so inspiring, motivating & empowering. Also how they treat you at work with the perfect mix of clear guidance, freedom & empowerment to lead & also to have fun along the way. Amazing, amazing, amazing experience! Everyone becomes your family when volunteering here and I've never felt more at home while away from home. Some of my favourite times while at FLI are as simple as game nights and snorkeling Butler Bay with everyone. Work hours are consistent and provided food is a big plus. Ryan and Corina are fantastic hosts and a big part of why I had such a great experience. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming home for volunteers and make sure you have everything you need. By far the best volunteer experience I've had and look forward to coming back!

It was such a pleasure assisting with the work at the Center. The schedule was consistent and well organized, and I appreciated having daily opportunities to explore, enjoy the beach and shop. Ryan and Corina fostered a truly team-oriented environment and often spend time with the staff-whether playing board games, enjoying a beach bonfire, or cooking together. My accommodations were comfortable, and I especially loved planning and preparing vegan lunches for the work crew and helping with cooking for the guest at the Inn. Everyone and everything there was wonderful!

Ryan and Corina were the epitome of hospitality. We felt welcomed and included the second they picked us up from the airport. Not only did we learn coral conservation techniques, and sustainability practices, but also they made sure to include us in all activities. They were doing on their own. They were our first Worldpackers opportunity and have set an incredibly high bar for the next. I would wholeheartedly endorse the Center to any and all looking for a volunteer experience that is above and beyond in the Caribbean.

Wow, what can I say, alot actually, although, I'll make it short and sweet This experience was number 5 through worldpackers ans what a phenomenal experience. Ryanair Corina were God Sent definitely. I had the best experience yet there with them and it changed my life for the better and greater forever. Everything flowed so smoothly as if we all were together I'm another lifetime doing the same exact things together as a community/union/family. So grateful for you all and until we meet again. Corina & Ryan are great hosts. They care about your wellbeing and opinion. The property is magical and next to work you have plenty of time to enjoy the island. I felt like a valued member of the FLI community. I highly recommend if you'd like to improve your mechanical skills while being in paradise. It's definitely a home away from home :)
