My first Worldpackers experience couldn't have left a better impression! Oliver, Dana, and their family friends are kind and welcoming, and I quickly felt part of the community. From potato harvesting to fencing, construction, walking ponies, chess, and colouring with the kids, there was always something to do. Potato harvesting became a fun social event full of stories, laughs, and conversation. And, if you aren't fluent in German, expect to learn some new words! I highly recommend this family to anyone willing to get a little dirty for cultural immersion, language learning, and good times!

This was my first experience and what can I say. I had a great time Oliver & Danna were super welcoming and kind. I spent 3 weeks there and always had something to do and the surroundings were amazing. the tasks were nice and had a good verity and I leaned a lot about fram life and German culture. The hosts were also very helpful with finding events and giving tips on things nearby and the locals were kind and funny. I really recommend it if you're new to this or just want to learn about farm life and this part of Germany.

We really enjoyed our time with Oliver's family, working in nature, eating lunch and dinner together and playing cards with children. We did meaningful work and were free to organize our week and days however we wanted. We stayed in a cozy converted caravan and we could watch the seenset from our window. It was a lovely experience.

Hallo! Volunteering in this farm consisted on taking care of animals and doing construction work. The tasks ranged from feeding and moving animals 🐄, cleaning their living spaces, chopping old wood 🪓 and helping out on their newest construction project. I had a very nice time with them while playing some chess with the kids♟️. They are truly caring and loving people, very generous and open-minded. I learned very valuable things from their way of life. This is a really good place to immerse in German culture and meet a beautiful local community of neighbours and friends. Danke für alles!

I had a wonderful time at Oliver's and Dana's farm. They welcomed me into their family and community from day one. The meals were together and the tasks varied depending on what was needed. The way they work is very interesting and they treat the animals with care. It's a great opportunity to immerse yourself in German farm life and culture. If you already know some German you'll probably improve it during your stay. Best wishes to all the family and good luck with all your projects! Big hugs to the lovely Goliath and Gimli!! Tchüss!
