Me encantó absolutamente esta experiencia de voluntariado en Tenerife. Cuidar de los perros y gatos fue una experiencia increíble y significativa, y realmente sentí que tenía un impacto positivo en esta realidad. Las horas de trabajo fueron muy manejables y dejaron bastante tiempo libre para explorar Tenerife y disfrutar la experiencia al máximo. También pasé un gran rato con el otro voluntario y me sentí muy cómodo durante toda mi estancia.
Un enorme agradecimiento a Myrna y Paco, por ser anfitriones increíbles y hacerme sentir como en casa.
¡Voy a extrañar tanto a los perros! Recomiendo esta experiencia a cualquiera que ame a los animales

Pasé un tiempo maravilloso en la casa de Myrna; fui muy bien recibido y hospedado y fue una gran experiencia de principio a fin. Los perros y los gatos son los más adorables y están muy bien cuidados. Puedes ver el amor por los animales en cada rincón de la casa. ¡Definitivamente recomendaría la experiencia de voluntariado!

Quedarse con Myrna y Paco durante dos semanas fue realmente un honor. Myrna es una mujer de gran corazón y un profundo amor por los animales. Los animales son increíbles; es imposible no enamorarse de ellos. El trabajo no fue difícil, solo unas pocas horas al día, y tuve mi propia habitación con acceso constante a la nevera. Gracias por todo: no podría haber deseado una mejor primera experiencia con Worldpackers.❤️ ¡Me encantaría volver algún día!

Fui a Tenerife durante tres semanas y me alojé con Myrna, ¡fue realmente la mejor experiencia Worldpackers! Disfruté pasar tiempo con todos los maravillosos perros que ella tiene, y el trabajo era muy simple, tomando solo alrededor de unas dos horas al día. Myrna y Paco me recibieron como si fuera parte de su familia, y realmente me sentí como en casa en su casa. Myrna es una mujer encantadora e inteligente, ¡con el corazón en el lugar correcto! If you want to be inspired by the courageous Myrna and seek impact in small ways, this is the place for you. Myrna is an incredible woman who does anything and everything, the real question is what doesn't she do? My time here was spent taking off some responsibilities of their shoulders such as feeding the beautiful beings of their home, and generally cleaning and assisting in the farm. If you love animals, aren't afraid to get dirty, this is the place to go. Both Myrna and Paco were very welcoming, I also felt very safe in their home. Thank you both for welcoming me and for what you do! <3

Oh woow what can i say??? It was such an amazing experience, from the moment they picked me up at the airport i felt like home. Myrna and Paco are such kind and amazing people! The work was simple and you have a lot of free time, working and living with the dogs we're fantastic but remember, you will 100% want to adopt at least one 😆 do it if you can! Tho its a little bit hard to get around from there, Myrna and Paco are very open to show you places and help you to get around and explore! I miss them and the dogs already, cant wait to go back! Thank you for everything 🫶🏼🐾

I stayed with my friend at Anne's shelter for two weeks. We were working 4 hours a day (from 8:30-12:30), we were cleaning the property and the work wasnt easy but it was only 4 hours so not that long. After that Anne took us to the beach few times and it was really nice. The animals were also very cute:)) The thing we didnt really like were the conditions in which we lived but you have to be prepared for that when you go to help in an animal shelter as its normal that the space gets dirty really fast. But overall it was an amazing experience and I really liked the whole trip:)

It was my first trip with worldpackers and it was really perfect. The work is not hard and its only 4 hours per day so i had the rest of the day for exploring the island. The only thing that i would change were living conditions but as its dog shelter it is obvious that place is not to luxury. Overall it was really great experience and i will miss all of the dogs🐶

Horrible. There are two shelters: Myrna's is said to be very good, but I was at Anne's. The contact with the animals was good but there is seriously something wrong with this place.

Lamento escuchar eso de tu parte. Bueno, como eras experto en caballos, nos alegramos de que pudieras ayudarnos con ellos. Cuando hay problemas, nos complace enterarnos de ello, el problema es que un refugio con tantos animales abandonados sin ayuda económica no es un lugar de lujo, y nos alegramos de recibir ayuda, pero no podemos saber cómo son las personas. Así que, gracias de nuevo por tu ayuda y esperamos que te sientas mejor en otros lugares. Nunca nos dijiste qué tiene que cambiar, en tu opinión.

I volunteered at the shelter with Anne for one month and it was really an experience of a lifetime, something I will remember forever! The animals, dogs, cats, horses, will forever stay with me🥰 The work is 4 hours per day 8:30-12:30, mostly cleaning poop and feeding the animals. As we live with the dogs, it is clear that the place isn't very clean always. Also without a car from there it's quite difficult to explore the island because the buses are rare and usually late. If you love animals and want to make a change in their lives and give them love this place is for you, do it😊
