I spent just over a month volunteering at the hostel, and my stay there was fantastic! The hostel is very welcoming, and the host, Scott, makes a real effort to create a pleasant, family-like atmosphere, even cooking for the guests now and then, which I really appreciated. The other volunteers were amazing, and I loved the sense of family that developed. I'd recommend staying here to anyone!!

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! The hostel is very cozy and all the facilities are very nice! Also there are bikes and surf boards you can use as staff. The work is very straight forward, and Scott is a great host! I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity !

I spend 3 weeks at the hostel doing the housekeeping. All the work was super easy and everyone helped each other. Other volunteers were nice and friendly and the host Scott was truly amazing host i felt so safe and comfortable at the hostel. I recommend this place for those who like the vibe of a small surf town. Thank you the hostel!❤️

I loved my experience at the hostel banana Hostel. It was probably my favorite time in Australia.
The tasks are very manageable and the hours of work are reasonable for free accommodation.
I really enjoyed the facilities of the hostel but also the social environment since there are always activities you can participate in.
It was a lovely experience to work there with other travelers and to get to know each other.
I would definitely recommend the hostel for other volunteers :)

All in all I had a wonderful experience at the hostel! Everyone in the staff were very welcoming and I quickly felt at home. I was in reception and the work was straight forward and easy to learn, and if you were unsure of something Eddie was always there to help you. The hostel is very close to the beach so you could spend your free time at the beach which was awesome. Agnes Water is a pretty small town but really has that authentic Aussie-vibe. So if you're looking for the real Aussie-vibe and the possibility of making a lot of new friends I would highly recommend the hostel!

The hostel is really social and there was always something going on. There was a great sense of community between the staff members which was really nice.
As receptionists, we could participate in the schedule for the week, so that we could create days off.
The work wasn't too hard to learn. But you had to be very conscientious completing your tasks or be able to put up with critique.
On the other hand, Scott put effort into creating a social environment and regurlarly cooked dinner for the staff.
All in all, our stay was loads of fun!
