The Experience

We need a hand in basic hostel tasks, such as helping during the breakfast time (serving, preparing, washing and cleaning) and night guardian (super easy, just take the emergency phone) . Our hostel is right in front of the beautiful Iseo lake, 10 minutes walking from Lovere city center (rated one of the most beautiful village in Italy since 2003) and surrounded by nature. A basic level of Italian in speaking is a plus.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it's definitely set the bar high for future ones! Lovere is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty to do in your free time, from hiking and swimming to exploring nearby lakeside villages. My schedule usually followed a pattern of three days on and two days off. The work was very easy, and we often finished earlier than expected. It was also great sharing the experience with two other volunteers. The hostel staff were friendly and welcoming. The owner can be a little strict about certain things, but overall, everyone was welcoming and accommodating!

The hostel was a great experience, I had fun and the town is beautiful. Everyone working at the hostel was super nice and I learned a lot of Italian. I'm very thankful to all of them and I'm sure I'll come back one day to visit them!

I would really recommend this experience! This was my first volunteering experience and I loved it! I came for 2 weeks to Lovere and it was the perfect amount of time to get to know the place, the other volunteers and even go on a few day trips. You get told which days you'll help and which days are you day-off on your first day at the hostel. So you can organize your trip around very easily. The shifts are way shorter than what it's supposed to. So you will definitely have time to go explore or even be lazy. The staff it's very welcoming and patient. Thank you for the opportunity!

I spent September at the Hostel and had a great time there. The hosts are welcoming and any time available to help. Special thanks to Dunja for the great company at breakfast and all the staff members. I would recommend this volunteering experience for other volunteers too.

This was undoubtedly an incredible experience.

The whole team, their warmth, and the tasks we had to do all met and exceeded my expectations. Lovere is undoubtedly a wonderful place that I’ll be returning to. Thank you, Doña, Magda, Valen and Romina! You’re all incredible people, and I was so lucky to have such a great team of volunteers – we became such good friends THANK YOUUUU ♥️
