My time at the hostel was very fun the people who work there are the best, it's like a family❤️ I did not paint as it was communicated beforehand on Worldpackers, so that's one thing they maybe need to improve, but the tasks I did were easy and did not take that long. In general it's a nice place to meet locals and practise one's spanisch, the city is very beautiful. All in all I would definitely do it again!

I'm grateful for the time I had here. Everyday tasks were mostly pertaining to housekeeping which included sweeping, mopping, changing the rooms after guests left and cleaning the bathrooms. Overall very easy going environment and only about 10-20 min from the center. You work in the mornings and then pretty much get the rest of the day free. The owners of the hostel are very welcoming and the entire family is very kind. I got to practice my Spanish a lot here and I had a lot of fun nights with the team including salsa dancing, family dinners, and karaoke. Good balance of chill + fun👍🏾

I stayed for two weeks with the Sorcia family and I loved every bit! They were all very patient with my Spanish and were always caring for my needs and learning on the bar. It was a very quiet restaurant but the down times were always filled with laughs. The only thing I would say is that there wasn't a volunteer room, you were put wherever there was a gap, so if there was a full hostel you went to the owners house. However this wasn't a massive issue because the house and family are lovely and always offer to help with everything☺️ Special mention to Lorenzo for keeping me company too☺️💚

I felt really welcomed since I arrived, Lalo and his family were so nice and supportive all the time, they respect the working hours and tasks. When it comes to the facilities, the rooms are always clean and organized so you will be comfortable. They make your stay incredible by showing you the local culture of Puebla and you can practice your Spanish without any issues. I recommend 100% this place. Thanks Lalo, Fidel and Betty. 😇 Special thanks to Mickey. 🐕‍🦺

This was my first time volunteering in a hostel and it was nothing short of amazing. Lalo and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming. Their dog Mickey is the sweetest pup. I enjoyed his company. The tasks were simple and straightforward. I helped around the restaurant and cleaned parts of the hostel. There wasn't always much work to do. In my free time I got to enjoy the beautiful terrace. Every day of work I had two meals with the family. Overall, it was a great experience. Also, the hot showers were lovely! I also had the opportunity to practice my Spanish and explore parts of Puebla.
