My experience was amazing and I recommend the project 100%! The. team were very welcoming and helpful to me and their dedication to the animals is clear. The animals were wonderful to be around and I learned a lot. I agree with other reviews that it's like a big family and I loved being part of it.There's a lot of freedom for volunteers because the work is done in the morning, leaving afternoons free. La the project is stunningly beautiful and the sun always shines. Laura, Luis, Patri, Ale, Carolina, Ferne - thank you for your help (particularly with my Spanish!) and for all the laughs. Volveré!

I could learn a lot during my two months at the project and it was a really nice experience! I loved working with the cats and taking care of them. Also my tasks were really diverse which was great, for example cleaning the rooms, bathing the cats, painting, preparing food and medication but also going for a walk with a dog or sometimes to the vet. (If you're more of a dog-person, you can choose to work more with them) Also everyone from the team was super friendly and helpful, thank u for everything:) I'd recommend this opportunity to every animal-lover!

My volunteering experience at Pro Animal in La the project was just wonderful! The whole team is very welcoming and happy to help you. The tasks are quite easy and they give you a lot of freedom when you want to work which was amazing. You have more than enough time to explore the island. The only thing which I think is important to know, is that your Spanish should be on a good level to enjoy this experience even more. But even for me with very basic Spanish knowledge it was an overall amazing experience and I will defenitely come back at some point :)

Este lugar con sus animalitos y los chicos que los cuidan con tanto cariño,te roba el corazón!es una gran familia donde cada uno tiene su personalidad y se le quiere y se le intenta dar la mejor vida posible,tanto si se quedan,cuanto si se entregan a alguien que pueda darle el amor que merecen!Los chicos son súper dedicados,aprendes cuanto es importante todo tipo de amor y apoyo que puedas aportar y cuanto los animalitos te lo agradecen!ojalá tuvieran más ayuda y se le permitiera hacer más! El mundo sería mejor si hubiera más personas tan buenas y se aprendiera de estas dulces creaturitas!

Ese lugar es una maravilla si amas a los animales. Todos los animalitos son hermoso y te agradezcan tu trabajo y apoyo con mucho amor y cariño! Muchas gracias a Laura, Luis, Patri y Ale que nos trataron como que si fuéramos parte de su familia. Siempre nos apoyaron en todo y siempre intentaron de hacer la estancia lo más cómodo posible! Pro Animal tiene un espacio gigante en mi corazón y me siento muy afortunada haber vivido y compartido esa experiencia 💚💚
