I have nothing but nice words to say about my stay. Maja and Oliver are both incredibly kind people, who made this place feel like second home. Work varies a lot, the amount is completely reasonable and in exchange you get to eat a lot of delicious food, stay in a place surrounded by mountains AND right next to the sea at the same time, meet interesting people and last but not least learn a lot of things - about renovations, upcycling, growing and cooking your own food... And games, you also learn a lot of games (if you want to of course, nobody is going to force you (probably)) ;)

My experience in Kerry was incredible. Maja and Olivier received me very well. I really felt at home. The food was amazing, they like to consume local and organic products. I stayed in the caravan and it was good for me because I had more privacy, the bed was ok and I had heating when it was cold. The house is surrounded by nature with the beach near. The most close town is Castlegregory (6,6 km) where I could get the bus to Tralee or Dingle. I like to hike so I enjoyed a lot this stay because there are lots of trails close to the house. The work was hard sometimes but it we had time to do it.

Maja and Olivier are amazing hosts who made me feel at home from the very first moment. At the same time, they completely respected my privacy. The work was varied and exactly as we agreed. And the local nature absolutely impressed me. I warmly recommend this place and I hope I can come back soon.

We had a lot fun, we ate really love food and I learned different building techniques, Olivier teaches to me a lot different things, Maja is a wonderful person. Every day was unique and enchanted. I enjoyed work in the construction, they're really flexible with your time. I felt like in home.

On your days off, you can take Lota (their dog) for a walk on the beach; she really enjoys it. Thank you for all the love you gave us; you're wonderful.

The work was sometimes strenuous, but they were very careful to ensure that we only did strenuous work for as long as it was good for us. For example, we tended the garden, helped Olivier in his kitchen, dug a trench, cooked and painted window frames. Working hours were usually between 9am and 2pm/3pm. As agreed, we also had days off. We slept in the caravan, which was well equipped and everything was very comfortable.
