Kilcummin Beg

We live in the very South West of Ireland in Kerry. On the foot of the Beenoskee mountain 5min away from a 10 kilometer sand beach called Brandon Bay. We have changed the 220 year old farmhouse in a beautiful hobbies like home using mainly eco-friendly materials. We have a big enough garden where we started this year to implement the Vietnamese Farming Technik. We have Polly tunnel
and Chickens all of it supplies us with a part of our foods. We bake our own sourdough bread and if time allows us we pick wild foods from the seashore and other places. This year we need helpers for the renovation of the second old farm house . We use natural building materials like hemp plaster and newspaper roof isolation. Also some garden work in summer. Your privat room is in a lovely little caravan otherwise you are with us in the house.

I'm Maja original German and Oliver my husband is French. We live here in Ireland for 25 years . Oliver has his business where we live . He makes the most delicious foods out of meats like Salamis ,Payed, pickled seaweeds and lots more which he sells on markets. I own a cheese Shop / Cafe in the nearby Town Tralee. I used to make cheeses in my own dairy for 20 years but gave that up. We will be happy to show you our trades and will make you feel at home. We love having people working and living with us. It is always a great exchange and fun. Ps minimum stay 4 weeks. We prefer longer .
