This was our first volunteering experience, and we really enjoyed it. We stayed for seven weeks, but the time went by very quickly! Sahara is kind and a great cook. We really appreciated the times she invited us to share a meal with her family and everyone is friendly. We worked in the mornings, usually the full five hours at weekends. Staying in a 400-year-old house in the countryside near Wells was a very special experience. There are many beautiful places nearby, although getting around can be a little difficult without your own transport. We are very grateful for our time at the guest house.

We spent six wonderful weeks at Sarah’s B&B, and the time went by incredibly quickly. The family was attentive, welcoming, and polite, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The workdays were short, rarely exceeding five hours, leaving plenty of free time to explore nearby cities and towns. The main downside was the inconvenient public transportation, with the last bus to Wells leaving at 5:40 p.m.; if you miss it, you may have to walk around three miles back. There is also no air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable during the summer.

The guest house never felt like a job, it felt like having a family. Sarah is incredible. She makes you feel at home and includes you her beautiful world. I don't know if I will ever find another volunteer job like this. It made my trip to England. Dinner with the family was my favorite thing to look forward to. The food was absolutely incredible. As for the “ work” aspect, It was really easy. I absolutely loved the guest house service. Sarah always made sure that I had enough time to enjoy everything I wanted to do or see. My room felt like a cozy apartment. There aren't enough words to ex ho.

Volunteering in the Worth House is definitely my best decision until now!! Sarah and her family members are so nice and kind, and everything in the house is comfortable that you will feel very welcome. I have plenty of time to explore the places nearby and glad to be surround by the greens~ I really enjoyed the stay very much and highly recommend others to volunteer in Worth House!!!

Wonderful experience at Sarah's home with clear tasks. It was a very welcoming family environment in the restorative Somerset countryside near lots of incredible historical, cultural and nature places to visit. I brought a bike and got around well with my bike and the buses! Thank you Sarah for a fantastic first Worldpacker experience and all the best.

This was an amazing experience. The work is reasonable and the hosts are very welcoming and caring. Also, were very patient with a learning curve and mistakes made along the way. Not only the place is beautiful, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Nature all around, and landscapes to take your breath away. If you're looking for a place that is quieter than the city, this is definitely the place. Don't think the work will be easy, because putting care and attention to detail will be necessary, since the host aim to give the guests a wonderful, pleasent experience. Definetely the guest house it.

I cannot possibly say enough about how amazing my experience was at the guest house! Sarah is an incredible host who is truly dedicated to making sure every guest has a memorable & enjoyable experience. Sarah taught me a lot about how to run BnB operations in a efficient & immaculate way. I truly felt part of the family for my time there and was very sad to have to go. Already planning when I can go back though! In all, I'm so grateful to Sarah and the family for a wonderful time at the guest house :)

Sarah was a great host, very welcoming and caring! I visited during the winter months during the low season and the work was reasonable and balanced. I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah and her daughters who are all such kind and fun people. The English countryside was beautiful and the B&B was lovely!

It was a great experience. Sarah's house was cozy and charming, and the Christmas atmosphere was wonderful. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature, and the town of Wells is beautiful with lovely shops and restaurants. The locals were nice and friendly, which really gave me an an authentic English cultural experience ! Transportation was reliable and always on time. Sarah and her family were very organized and friendly. The tasks were simple, and there was plenty of free time. I truly enjoyed my month-long stay !

My experience at the guest house was amazing! Sarah was such a good person, her food is delicious! Also, we had a good kitchen that we could use at any time. Our accommodation was very comfortable. The work is simple, sometimes can be busy, because of the many guests at the BnB, but nothing to worry about! Everything went fine. The lovely city of Wells is at a walking distance, and you can catch busses to nearby cities as well! I want to thanks Sarah for everything. Our staying at the guest house was unforgettable.
