The tasks are simple and the best part is all the people who work there. Ale, Emi, Vivi and Angelita, they are all wonderful people who really make you feel at home from the very first moment!! I truly recommend this experience to everyone, I am sure I will return because I was very happy :)

She was a very calm, kind, and highly adaptable person, with a light and pleasant presence. She was always very helpful and willing to assist, doing everything we asked with a lot of goodwill. We loved having Lúcia with us and we were very happy with the experience. Definitely, when she wants to return, she will be welcomed with open arms at Aratuca! <3

I stayed a month at Pousada Aratuca volunteering in marketing and at the reception. The place is charming, very well located and safe. The breakfast is great; you can nourish yourself very well and even have a little sweet. It’s about a 7-minute walk to Praia Grande, and you can still borrow a bike and go to the cove to watch a beautiful sunset. The owners, Ale and Ana, are very friendly and respectful. Emi, who is the manager, was always open to dialogue and on board with my video ideas. The tasks were very smooth and as agreed. São Chico has a surreal energy!

Last year, when I had my first volunteering experience, I thought the experience at the inn would be the best; now, having had other experiences in different places, I could be sure: the inn is unbeatable and the hosts are the best people I have met in my travels. I was afraid to enter this volunteering life, but after this first experience at the inn, my friends, I opened my eyes to new possibilities. Incredible people; I have nothing to complain about; the stay was simply perfect. Ale and Ana are great hosts and Angelita undoubtedly taught me a lot and made everything easy to do; not to mention that she is very good-humored; Emily also became a great friend. Every person I interacted with, the inn itself, São Chico, everything contributed to make my days unforgettable. São chico é maravilhosa, principalmente os aredores da pousada. Muitas trilhas e paisagens de tirar o fôlego, recomendo fortemente pra quem quer uns dias tranquilos à beira-mar. A pousada é bem localizada e as acomodações são ótimas, com um café da manhã e almoço deliciosos. Os anfitriões são presentes e o combinado é respeitado, destaque especial para os papos lúcidos e engrandecedores sobre a vida com o alê 😁✌🏻. Enfim, com toda certeza a pousada superou minhas expectativas para o primeiro voluntariado, recomendo demais!!
