We are Pousada Aratuca, located in São Francisco do Sul, SC, a destination full of history and beautiful natural landscapes. Our guesthouse offers a variety of cozy and comfortable suites, ranging from options for couples to larger family accommodations. We value a tranquil and welcoming environment, ideal for couples and families seeking a memorable experience in connection with nature.
Our guests enjoy themed suites that provide comfort and coziness, in addition to a delicious breakfast included. The shared kitchen is available so everyone can feel at home during their stay. Our main goal is to offer moments of tranquility and connection, ensuring that each guest takes home special memories.
We are looking for volunteers who want to add value to our guesthouse and help further improve the service and facilities offered. If you are interested in joining us, helping to create unique experiences for our guests and improving internal processes, we would love to have you with us!

It was definitely one of my best volunteering experiences! The inn is beautiful, they offer a very hearty breakfast and dinner. The tasks are simple and the best part is all the people who work there. Ale, Emi, Vivi and Angelita, they are all wonderful people who really make you feel at home from the very first moment!! I truly recommend this experience to everyone, I am sure I will return because I was very happy :)

She was a very calm, kind, and highly adaptable person, with a light and pleasant presence. She was always very helpful and willing to assist, doing everything we asked with a lot of goodwill. We loved having Lúcia with us and we were very happy with the experience. Definitely, when she wants to return, she will be welcomed with open arms at Aratuca! <3

I stayed a month at Pousada Aratuca volunteering in marketing and at the reception. The place is charming, very well located and safe. The breakfast is great; you can nourish yourself very well and even have a little sweet. It’s about a 7-minute walk to Praia Grande, and you can still borrow a bike and go to the cove to watch a beautiful sunset. The owners, Ale and Ana, are very friendly and respectful. Emi, who is the manager, was always open to dialogue and on board with my video ideas. The tasks were very smooth and as agreed. São Chico has a surreal energy!

Last year, when I had my first volunteering experience, I thought the experience at the inn would be the best; now, having had other experiences in different places, I could be sure: the inn is unbeatable and the hosts are the best people I have met in my travels. A place where we receive so much that naturally we have the desire to do our best to contribute in the best possible way and from the heart. São Chico is captivating! Everything here is very good, the safest and most reliable place I have known to date. My words are not enough to express my gratitude!
