The job was pretty easy, and there were many times we finished early. The location near Namba was convenient, and since I could pick my own work days, it was easy to go out and have fun.

I had an amazing month volunteering at the hostel! Hide-san and Hikaru were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always flexible and accommodating, which made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. I also loved sharing the apartment with Yurari, my Japanese roommate. It was a great opportunity to experience Japanese culture and made my stay even more special. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere, I met amazing people, and I made wonderful memories. I would definitely recommend this host to anyone looking for a volunteering experience in Osaka! See you soon :)

Excellent volunteer experience!\n\nHide-san was a great host, great communication with schedule and working hours and job duties. Job was not stressful at all and the rest of volunteers were easy to work with. Very near subway station and about 20 minute walk from Dotonburi so many things to do and ways to travel throughout the city!

My stay at the hostel was wonderful, the host was an excellent person, very attentive and gives you to choose the breaks and if any eventuality arises, questions or tries to solve, the work demands some effort but it is easy, sometimes it is finished in less than two hours or sometimes a little more. The location is perfect. Thank you Xijun and Hikoru (I hope I wrote the names well) 🤗

Had a great time working at the hostel, stayed 5 min away in a separate apt with the sweetest girl, Yurari, a Japanese part-time worker from the hostel. Work is simple and well explained from the beginning (usual housekeeping tasks) no more than 3 hours per day, usually 2. The owner is also very understanding and usually lets you pick your days off. Overall, great experience would recommend to anyone looking to explore Osaka and near cities at a slower pace.

Staying at Pic Nic was very good. The location is perfect, 15 minutes walking distance from Namba, and 2 minutes walking from Sakuragawa Station that can take you anywhere. Working hours and shifts are easy, but a commitment to good cleanliness is demanded! The hostel is good, and it feels very local, with many Japanese people staying. The staff consists of a maximum of 3 volunteers at the same time, so the vibe really depends on them. The boss is a very nice person, with tons of flexibility. For me, staying at Pic Nic was a relaxing experience with a lot of free time. Thank you again, boss 🙏

The experience in the hostel was really good. The location is great, you have many convenience store and groceries store around. The work is easy, just 2 hours of cleaning with 2 days free. Dotonbori is only 25 minutes walk from here or 5 minutes with train. The owner is nice and friendly, highly recommended!
