My staying at the hostel was really nice. It has a great location and that makes exploring convenient, and well connected to trains that go to Nara, Himeji and Kobe. Work was easy to learn and carried out mostly in the morning. Also, there is good balance between japanese and foreigner guests, so you can interact with all kind of people. Overall, I recommend this experience:)

I had a great time here. The Hostel is nice, the working hours are really good and it is super close to the city center, would recommend it :)

I had a good time in Osaka and I met lovely people. The work hours are just 2 hours per day 5 times a week. Sometimes you finish even earlier. A lot of time to explore Osaka. But it really depends on the volunteers how clean the hostel is, because there is no temporary cleaning staff.

The stay at the hostel was nice. I was in a women dorm with 4 beds (I asked beforehand for a womendormery). How clean it is depends on how well you're doing the job. You only need to work a few hours per day when you clean. Sometimes I also did the reception (it's also possible with only a bit Japanese knowledge). The best part of the job were the coworkers who were international and also national travelers :)

Hide-san is a very kind and welcoming host. He gives the staff small gifts and sometimes he even buys us food. Sadly he had a health issue the last days of my stay and couldn't see him as happy as he is. Hopefully when he recovers he will be as happy and energetic as usual
