The island and the hostel are beautiful and I enjoyed chilling in the garden and discovering its fruits. The work was easy and Rodrigo really flexible with hours. But I was supposed to have access to a bike and it was initially not the case. I had to ask two times for the bike to be fixed and still, it's not a good one, you cannot use it to go far away. Which makes a difference as moto taxis are expensive there. Some of the owner's friends were living in the hostel for several months. They were all nice with me but I was the only young foreigner woman so I didn't always feel at ease.

Experiência maravilhosa, o hostel é um hostel sensacional, conheci pessoas incríveis que espero levar pra vida...a ilha é maravilhosa, você convive com búfalos em um lugar paradisíaco..imersão cultural sensacional com o carimbo e artesanato marajoara...o hostel tem um quintal recheado de árvores frutíferas para comer a vontade... manga, pitanga, acerola, tamarindo, abacate e muito mais...as tarefas são tranquilas, cuidar do jardim e manter a casa limpa. O Rodrigo é um anfitrião parceiro, aproveite os passeios com ele, todos são incríveis. Recomendo demais!!!

A minha experiência no the hostel foi ótima! As atividades eram bem flexíveis quando não podíamos fazer num horário tínhamos total liberdade pra fazer em outro horário, o the hostel e super aconchegando com um quintal enorme cheio de frutas, Rodrigo nos ensinou muito sobre a cultura Marajoara, a cidade por si só já e encantadora cheio de cultura e o hostel contribuiu ainda mais com a experiência, vou sentir saudades 🤍

Rodrigo nos recebeu muito bem, o hostel também é muito acolhedor e bonito, bem localizado e com trabalhos da moles e rápidos, apenas em poucas vezes tínhamos que fazer algo difato trabalhaso mas nunca passamos dos horários e sempre houve uma comunicação clara de ambas as partes. Infelizmente tivemos que encerrar nossa estadia, eu queria poder ficar muito mais. Porém, como minha primeira experiência de voluntariado, sinto que agora d vez é esse o caminho que quero para minha vida, recomendo de mais o hostel, conhecemos pessoas incríveis la, mal posso esperar para poder rever tds
