If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place with nature, propitious to meditate and reconnect with yourself while you meet and work with new people from all around the world, this place is a great option! The center is not so far from a little town and you can reach York by bus on your days off. The good thing is a 10 minutes walk to go to the gym next to a golf club, with a special discount for volunteers (29£ a month) with all the gym classes available. I'm so grateful for this experience, the residents were super kind and helpful. In a nutshell, I loved my stay there! :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Everyone was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. My English wasn't very good when I arrived, but they were always patient and understanding with me, which made me feel very comfortable communicating I'm very grateful for this experience, for the wonderful people I met and all the memories I made. I would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers! Gracias Helen por darme la oportunidad :)

It was definitely a super awesome volunteering! I can be surrounded by the greens, get really close to the nature and worked with a good team and nice managers and people in the center. And I had made many volunteer friends from differnet countries ~~ Highly recommend the center to everyone interested!!

I spent two wonderful weeks volunteering at the Center, and it exceeded all my expectations. Living and working alongside such a kind, welcoming, and soul-nourishing community was a pure pleasure. The facilities are great, and the surrounding nature offers absolute peace, silence, and beauty. You can truly feel the love and care put into this project. I leave with my heart full of joy, great memories, and deep gratitude for all the amazing people I met. Until next time!

The place is beautiful, the people kind and there are different works each day so its very entertaint and Is never longer hours than agreed. There is a little the Center room good a great vibe and is always available and a bigger one that host the Center and teaching everyday and are open to all. The share room for girls is large and has bunk bed with courtines and single beds. I chose the lower bunk bed for the privacy of the courtines but they are quite low so if you are tall...you may prefer to get the single bed XD Enjoy the people, the gardens and the teachings... Highly recommend!
