The Experience

After we nearly finish renovations at our wood log house. we already Insulationed it with straw and clay and plastered it. Renewed the roof and made the attic a living place and a House extention roof. Sanded some Log Walls, Changed Windows... As we made 85 % we did now we extented to have extra space for a bathroom - therefore we need helping hands working with Clay and straw or making a floor for the bathroom. No skills required we learn you:)

I had a wonderful week staying at the project. Julia, Samuel and their whole family were so open and welcoming. They included me in lots of family / community events. I was able to connect with so many people throughout the week, including locals in the community and other travellers. They were very mindful and considerate of the heat and adapted the work accordingly (whether it were time of day or type of task). It was really beautiful learning about their way of life and seeing the hard work they put in to keeping their lifestyle block running and expanding. Thank you again Samuel and Julia!

A big thank you to Samuel and Julia for their kindness and for welcoming me warmly into their family, with their children and their (many and adorable) animals. It was a short experience but one that I loved! I wish you the best for the future 💕

We are glad we got to know such beautiful human soul. Paul was helping out wherever he could and he was despite his 18 years very independent, experienced and caring.
It is really nice talking to Paul and you feel like you have a friend around easily!
