i loved my stay at omw hostel! the cleaning is easy and only took 2-2.5 hours a day maximum. the staff are so kind and helpful, and the instructions and schedule are really clear. the location of the hostel is great, i was able to get to central taipei most afternoons, and there are great hikes and hot springs nearby. i can’t wait to come back and volunteer here again. thank you all for everything!

I was staying at this hostel for over 3 weeks and if I come back to Taipei, I might go there again. The staff was super nice, they really cared about me having a good time. When I wanted to extend my stay they spontanously accepted it and were really understanding. Also they helped me with any questions I had and even did a BBQ, together with the other volunteers, wich was really fun. The tasks were really easy and most of the time work was done in under two hours. It was really clean and it has nice common areas where you can meat lots of nice people. Also Beitou is really chill and nice.

I have stayed at the hostel almost a month. Work is not different than whats written in the descpription, then you are all free and have time to explore taipei. Staff all were kind and helped me with work and finding places to eat, visit and understand taipei culture. I will miss all the staff and the city so much

Volunteering at the hostel was a nice experience. Sunny and Mia and the rest of the staff are all really friendly and nice. The work can be done in around 2-3 hours depending on the amount of check outs during the day. Beitou is a nice town to stay if you want to be in calm place but relatively close to the city.

It was my first volunteering experience. I stayed for 2 months and I did NOT get bored at ANY moment. The tasks are easy to understand and apply. The work is very, very well organized. You are never lost or alone faced with the workload. I recommend this very enriching experience to everyone. The hosts are all amazing and very understanding! You never get bored in Taipei. Between hiking in Yangmingshan and wandering around the capital, you can never get enough of Taipei. Thanks you so much !!! 🌞🌞🌞

Hostel was very close to Beitou MRT station, have good and cheap food and markets near the hostels. The staffs are very friendly and kind. Although there are some days where workload is a more (usually Sundays), it is still manageable and the staffs are always there to lend you a hand if necessary. The facilities within were very good for a hostel.
This was a very fun and enjoyable first Worldpacker experience.

The hostel is great option if you want to explore Taipei. You can see from the start that theyve been hosting volunteers for a while and are well expierienced the tasks are clear and not hard. Staff are very friendly and helpfull. The facilities are extremely good for a hostel, it was such a luxury compared to places i usually stay at. Cant recommend it more!

My stay in the hostel was really great! The location is amazing, right in the heart of Beitou and close to the MRT station. The staff is kind and always helps when necessary. There will be some days where work is a bit intense (usually Sundays) but they're always there to lend you a hand if necessary. And they might even treat you to some food! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience in Taipei and I really recommend the place!

I loved my time at the hostel in Taipei! The staff made me feel very welcome and were incredibly kind, so I felt almost like I was in a temporary home. I also met amazing volunteers 💗 The work was exactly as described, and the staff were always there to help the volunteers, even on busy days. I also loved the district, especially its Thermal Valley, and the hostel's location was just 5 minutes from the Red Line (so so convenient!) and about a 20-minute bus ride to Yangmingshan. Thanks again to everyone working at the hostel, I'll definitely come back! <3

Loved my stay at the hostel! Taipei itself is amazing, everything a big city has but also so much nature and calm everywhere. The hostel's in quiet Beitou which feels really local, but the metro gets you anywhere fast and cheap. Work was fine, usually done in like 2h so the rest of the day was free which is nice. Staff are the sweetest, always helping out and sharing snacks or food - yum. Only downside: volunteer room on 5th floor (no elevator 🥲) and shared with guests. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend!!!
