Staying at the hostel was amazing, Pablo and Juan Carlos are very very welcoming, kind, helpful and so so funny, spending time here was amazing. I was traveling with my girlfriend and they accepted us in very very short notice and gave us the best treatment. Definitely recommend :)

I had a really great time at the hostel. I stayed for 2 weeks and while you can see much of the city within 2 days, you can explore more into it and see a lot of culture and meet a lot of great people. We also get 2 days off a week so I spent them with another volunteer in las terrenas which was a nice getaway. Pablo and Juan carlos are both great people that are very flexible with times and tasks. When I arrived I got dropped off in the wrong spot and even though it was late at night Pablo went and met me to walk me to the hostel. They are also very proactive if you have any issues.

I came back! My first experience at the hostel was so great that I decided to return, and I think that says it all. A big thank you to all the staff for making my stay so enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it's easy to feel at home here. The tasks are diverse and interesting, the facilities are great, and the location is perfect, close to so many things to see and do around Santo Domingo. I've really enjoyed my time here and would absolutely recommend this experience to other travelers.

First of all, a big thank you to the staff and managers. I had a wonderful time volunteering at the hostel. The tasks were varied and enjoyable. Most importantly, the hosts treat volunteers with respect and kindness, creating a very positive and supportive environment. The hostel is in a great and safe location, close to many things to do. It's well equipped with two kitchens, which is very practical, and the entire place is kept clean. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to volunteer.

I can absolutely say that Pablo and Juan Carlos are lifelong friends. Volunteering at the hostel is a great place to meet new people, connect with the locals, and find time for yourself. With a fair schedule, it was easy to get out of the hostel Zone and explore the country. The staff are amazing at the hostel, its location is arguably the best in the city. Posted on top of the hill; you're an easy walk to parks, guaguas, restaurants and bars. I know I'll return to DR someday and I will definitely be seeing my family at the hostel!
