My time at the organization couldn't have been better! As an introverted person, I was worried I wouldn't connect to many people, but regardless, I met others on this trip who I can safely say will be friends for life! All thanks to the organization conservations hospitality and accommodating nature, if I could give 10 stars, I would, but unfortunately 5 is the limit!

I had an amazing time at the organization Conversation. I was there with a group of 10 people (me included) and Beate did an amazing job welcoming all of us in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and at the project! At the organization, we learned about sustainability living while being surrounded by the beautiful flora and fauna of Costa Rica, and while also eating incredible food everyday. We spent a week there and I can say with confidence that it inspired many of us. We can see that a lot of commitment, love and positive attitude was poured into the place. Thank you Beate for receiving us!

I felt instantly welcome and at home at Planet Conservation. Beate was such a warm, engaging host with a passion for sustainable practices and bringing hostel guests together as a community. She was able to rework our itinerary throughout the week amidst unpredictable weather and storms to ensure we had the best experience and were able to do as much as possible! The homemade meals and fresh juices were more than satisfying, and it was such a pleasure getting to know the other volunteers and project members involved.

I had an amazing experience with the Worldpackers staff I had lead my trip - notably Gigi. She was greatly accomodating, generous, always checked in with everyone, and made sure everyone was always safe (ie. always waiting at the back of the group).
My overall experience on this trip was also great! Hosts were so lovely and accomodating, food was amazing, and I had so much fun. 🥰

My experience with Beate and the organization was truly amazing. I had a wonderful and safe experience while feeling immersed in the culture that Costa Rica had to offer. Everyone at the organization were so warm and welcoming, even the cooks/staff who not only makes the most delicious meals but also makes those early wake ups a pleasant one by offering a warm smile and a greeting. Beate was very hospitable and accommodation to hearing out any questions/queries or concerns, as her top priority was making her guests/volunteers feel comfortable.
