For the activities, shifts of 4 hours are carried out daily, five days a week. The volunteer has 2 days off, and the schedule is organized among everyone.
We offer a shared room, with a bunk bed, lockers to store belongings, internet, and the amenities required for a pleasant stay.
We also offer a basket of food with basic supplies purchased weekly so that volunteers can prepare their meals at their own pace (the kitchen is available to the volunteer to use whenever necessary), in addition to free use of the washing machine.
The main tasks at the hostel are cleaning (bathrooms, rooms, kitchen) and reception, keeping the place clean and tidy so that the spaces are as pleasant as possible for everyone. We also have a lovely garden and it is our main value, as it attracts many species of birds and insects (we are visited by more than four different bird species), among them hummingbirds that leave their nests in cotton trees; therefore taking care of it is essential. The garden tasks consist of pruning the trees, watering, and giving water to the birds in the afternoon shift.
