I had a very relaxing stay at the lodge Talim. All of the Team members are so kind and make you feel welcome. The work wasn't hard or much and if you needed a break it was respected. My main task was to take care of the dod, which was really fun! Kim and Tan introduced me well into Malasian/ Chinese culture, as we went out to eat some local food or I had the chance to participate in some Tai Chi classes. The farm is in a rural area, about 40 min away from KL. There were no troubles when I was volunteering and Iwould definitely come back!

I had the best stay! The host and the whole team is amazing and very caring! I learned a lot from Kim and got to experience one of the kids camp she does, which was amazing! I'm really grateful and hope to be back at some point!

My experience in the lodge was quite good, the people there are so nice and helpful, I recommend it to couples or pairs volunteers as there was only me at that time, most of the tasks were simple, Kim the host was a very fun person and always smiling and helpful and she tried her best to show me local foods and local places, as she was taking me every week to local restaurants, the only problem I faced there was with food, as i'm not a big fan of Chinese cuisine.

Me and my Friend Charlotte volunteered at the lodge for a month and it was a very nice experience. The accomodation and the food were amazing and the work for the most part easy and fun.Kim, the owner, took us out to restaurants , to go swimming and to an art-gallery. A woman named Tan looked after us and was super kind and welcoming. But there's not many people at the farm, so I would recommend to volunteer with a friend.

The lodge Talim is a great place and it's a very exciting time to be part of the project. Kim and her staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Our accommodation was perfect, the food even better and the tasks were simple and often fun. We were regularly taken out to explore markets, eat at local restaurants or try street food Kim is really dedicated to providing the best possible experience for volunteers. I love this place and look forward to coming back. The only thing that you should be aware of is the possibility working with children if they have a school trip. It was great.
