Hi! We are Gisella, Baraka and our babies Malaika and Diego. I'm Gisella a psychologist and a yoga teacher, and together with my husband we live in a Village on the Sea in the beautiful Liguria. Gisella and Baraka do everything they can to include you as a family member, and make you feel comfortable. They are respectful and kind. Spotorno is small, cozy, peaceful and calm. I had many walks there. We did many things together. We went to the beaches, to the parks. I could explore the Italian Riviera during the summer and it was really cool. The tasks are fair, cleaning, organizing the house, and taking care of the kids. Shantal is super sweet, Diego and Malaika are super affectionate and full of energy. They are really intelligent and help you learn Italian. I hope to come back soon🩷

Gisella and Baraka were super kind to me. They made good food and Gisella even gave me some tension energy clearings:)The kids are funny and hyper, and the baby so cuuuuute, she does cry a lot if you're not used to it, but shes a baby after all. The work was just as expected, cleaning and being with the kids while the parents were 90% there too so no worries ab not understanding Italian 😭. One thing to note: the hours (which they're very flexible tho if u needed 1 day different) they would be 3 in the morning and then 2 in the afteroon. Good for online work. Maybe negotiable, should ask host.

Gisella was a very nice host; always opened to communication and helped in everything I needed. The tasks are very easy; cleaning the house, some laundry and taking care of the kids (I learn quite a lot of italian with them !). Thank you for everything Gisella and Baraka!

My stay with Gisella and her family was absolutely wonderful! She is an exceptional mother, and the kids are so very sweet :) I was provided with a very comfortable private room, hours were as listed, three meals a day, it felt like a home away from home! Spotorno is a lovely town, the beaches especially. If you're learning Italian this would be the perfect place to practice. I'm so thankful for my time here ❤️
