We are looking for someone to help with the daily routine. My experience at Gastof the guest house was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Roy and Suzanne are extremely personable and I found that I was able to relate to them on so many levels. I always looked forward to having meals together not only because Suzanne is an amazing chef but also because of the many laughs we had at the breakfast and dinner table. The work hours were very respected and all of my needs were met along with extra activities such as hiking with Suzanne and sharing music with Roy. I am so thankful for the opportunity to spend my time in Sankt Michael.

This was the best experience ever and I would definitely recommend it!! Everything was how it was described, the work was super easy and i've had tons of free time. Even though I was there at the end of the season, I can still 100% recommend coming at that time, because the weather is still great to go on hikes and bike rides. Suzanne and Roy are truly welcoming people and always helped us pick out wonderful bike rides and even drove us around with their car. If you like nature and mountains (+ skiing in the winter) this is the place for you!🫶

I had such an amazing time staying with Suzanne, Roy and, of course, their dog Joup! Everything was exactly as described and even better. The tasks are easy and time flies by, as you do them with another volunteer (thank you, Sophie, for becoming a real friend!). They made us feel at home from the first day! The food was so delicious, the room super comfortable, and there are plenty of things to do around: hiking, cycling, swimming in rivers and mountain lakes. Couldn't have wished for more! My biggest recommendation to literally anyone and hope to come back one day!

We really enjoyed our time working and staying with Suzanne and Roy. They were very clear on the work and daily routines (tidying the rooms in the morning and helping out in the kitchen when needed). We had lots of free time to enjoy the area- cycling, hiking and just relaxing in the beautiful nature! They gave us plenty of great tips and information. The guesthouse is lovely and our bedroom was very comfortable. The food was outstanding (Suzanne you are an amazing cook!). They were great hosts- kind, patient and welcoming. I would highly recommend! Thank you so much Suzanne and Roy :)
