The Experience

Casa Consciencia is not a tourist shelter nor an entertainment farm. We are a sanctuary where rescued animals are our priority. We seek committed, responsible people who are willing to actively collaborate with daily care and maintenance tasks; we live in a community and in constant evolutionary growth. Music, sharing, and living consciously are our way of life. If you want to come to collaborate, we will be happy!

Casa consciencia was perfect for me! Being my first time solo travelling and volenteering i was unsure what to expect but everyone was so welcoming and friendly. You feel apart of the place and have a good time during the meals also with a celebration each Friday the vibes are really good. Meeting a connecting with all the animals feels special and understanding there stories motivates you to do the work well. Would recommend here to anyone! I hope to be back soon.

My experience at Casa Consciencia Farm was very special. From the first day I felt very warmly welcomed by Angie, Ñaño, and Fafi, who were always kind and helpful. I had the opportunity to live with other volunteers, connect with the animals, and learn about the daily work that the farm requires. Unfortunately, due to the emergency caused by the heavy rains, I had to finish my volunteering earlier than planned. Still, I am very grateful for the farm ❤️

Thank you Yami for your words and for understanding the situation. We had complex weather conditions, constant power and internet outages, which also made your remote work difficult and the normal functioning of the sanctuary. Out of responsibility to the project, I made the decision to end the stay earlier than planned. Those were difficult moments for everyone, thank you for your help and understanding, I only hope you are well and happy, a fraternal and affectionate hug for you. Fafi, Ñaño and I

It was an incredible experience. It was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. I was very warmly welcomed; Ange, Naño and Fafi are amazing and we always shared meals (marvellous!) together and talked a lot. The work was basically feeding the animals and cleaning where they sleep, sweeping some leaves and eventually cleaning the chicken coop and helping to take out the trash. We didn't work many hours and we could take days off to go out and explore! I was very happy there and I already want to come back!!!!!

From day one they welcomed me with a lot of kindness and made me feel like part of the community. Angeles, Nano, Fafi, and the volunteer team were always in good spirits and willing to help.

The place is absolutely beautiful. The views of the mountains, the sun, the orchards, and the animals, two weeks of immersion have allowed us to experience the rural life of Melipilla with so much happiness and a lot of learning. Everything they did for my experience was super special.

I would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to connect with nature, humanity, and animals, and to live a different kind of volunteering.

It was a wonderful farm experience, where you can connect with the rescued animals and hear a very lovely story about them; also Anyi and Ñaño, with incredible people, make you feel like you were at home.
