Had a great time at Agathe&Clement's place. Immediately felt welcomed and respected. The accommodation (private bedroom and bathroom) were way more than I expected and the given tasks where well explained. I had to do gardening most of the time (good weather), some housekeeping (bad weather) and occasionally took care of Basile. Agathe is very caring, understanding and patient with the tasks and work around the house. She's also super supportive. Clement is very talkative and super friendly and Basile is a lovely little whirlwind. I miss spending time with him. Thank you for everything!

I loved my stay with Agathe, Clement and little Basile! I felt like part of the family right away. The work was very clear and explained well. Spending time with Basile was so much fun, he is such a cute kid. There was also plenty of time to explore the local towns which was great! The accommodation was very cozy and having meals together made me miss home a little less. I loved having dinners together as a family, thank y’all so much for all the hospitality!

Staying with Agathe, Basile and Clement was one of the best experiences I had during my travels in New Zealand so far! They are amazing, made me feel very welcome and included me as part of the family. The hours were really flexible and the work was mostly easy. I had the chance to celebrate my Christmas abroad with them and it was really nice. Not just learning about the Kiwi lifestyle, but also about the French culture. I can highly recommend staying with them as long as you are patient with a toddler and can adapt to their life:)

I was with agathe and clement (and little basile) for a month and it was wonderful! Very nice room to stay in with personal bathroom, and the couple is very nice. I did a lot of outside work, building gardens and some landscaping, occasionally feeding the pet cows. Their house is also close to the town square maybe 5 minute walk. Sometimes I cooked sometimes they did but we always had dinner together and all in all it was a relaxing experience.

My experience at Whangarei was memorable. Agathe is definitely a top host, no doubt about it. She's kind and attentive to others, always making sure we felt comfortable and part of the family. Basile is adorable and full of energy! We shared delicious meals and many joyful moments together. As for work, we enjoyed a variety of stimulating tasks, both indoors and outdoors; it was fun and engaging! The small village they live in, is just paradisiac. With beach and hikes nearby, it was really nice enjoying nature in the afternoon and on days off. I would definitely recommend this experience!
