The Experience

We recently bought a property and have hundred of projects... and a 2 years old toddler. We would love to have hosts able to help for random tasks that we can adjust to your skills: maintaining and creating gardens, building furniture, organising the inside, planting trees, cleaning house , cooking, entertaining kid... We are willing to have you feeling part of the family, share meals and side activities if you wish.

I had a very pleasant stay at the home, I felt very welcome and part of the family. I really enjoyed the tasks assigned to me which varied from housekeeping, gardening and a bit of carpentry depending on the needs as they arose. They are a very nice and attentive family, I loved sharing with them and especially the moments of dinner together.

My experience was so unbelievably amazing!! They have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and accommodate for any needs I may of had. They always made sure I was comfortable with the tasks and also that I had enough time to explore the local area (which I love.) Basile is such a smart little boy and so fun to spend time with. They remind me so much of my own family and it was really comforting to have that dynamic. My home away from home! I will cherish this part of my trip forever!

I can't express enough here how much I loved this experience and how welcome Agathe, Clement and Basile made me feel both in New Zealand and in theirs house! I strongly recommend it for everyone that wants to live in a peaceful and beautiful environment for a few weeks, while you help a family on they day-to-day life. I really don't have nothing to complain about anything, it was a awesome experience, that I would do more times, and I'm sure that I made 3 great friends in this world (2 and a half yet haha) Thank you for everything guys, it was a pleasure to share those weeks with you!

My time with Agathe, Clement, and little Basile was nothing but welcoming. They truly welcomed me into their home with open arms, delicious meals, and local knowledge. I learned so much about sustainability and eco conscious living. I highly recommend this position for anyone who is looking to slow down and really immerse themselves in the local community and live a slow rural life for a few weeks. I even got to learn a bit more about French culture and learn a few French words. weeks. The work is straight forward and they appreciate any assistance they can get. Overall a very enjoyable stay

Agathe & Clement made me feel like family. They are so kind and friendly. We worked on building up the garden, weeding, cleaning the house. They are very flexible with the work that needs to be done. I learned so much about sustainability and was able to practice speaking French! They also took me along for some great hikes and have the best recommendations for the area. There are so many kiwi birds in the area. You'll almost certainly hear one or two at night.
