The Experience

We need volunteers with intermediate to fluent English skills to engage in conversational practices with our students, ranging from basic to advanced levels. Conversations should be casual and natural, discussing topics like your recent travels, your country, your culture, etc. If you don't have a conversation topic. The commitment is 4 hours per day, either in a single shift or a split schedule (we are flexible). Volunteers work 5 days a week.

I really enjoyed my time at Ingles Rapido. the school is a nice city, and i would also recommend to visit Baños and Puyo. The people are very welcoming and helpful when you need it, and the students are also willing to give you any tips about food or attractions if you ask :)

The team at the school is kind, inclusive, and helpful. the school itself does not have too much to do if you will be staying a while, but day trips were easy enough to arrange. I stayed for a little less than 2 weeks, and thought it was a great experience. The staff and students were all awesome to work with. I got to learn a lot about the culture and lifestyle through my conversations and also requested Spanish classes while I was there and learned a lot, which I enjoyed! I would highly recommend this experience.

I spent only two weeks with the people at the school. Everyone was extremely welcoming at all times, and they were genuine and nice. I 10000% recommend this experience to other travalers!! I got to travel around the city and the country. Moreover, the accomodation is super nice and comfortable , the people are always warm and open to talk to you.

I enjoyed my time with the school a lot. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help wherever they could and the accommodation was spacious and cozy. Talking to local students offered you the perfect opportunity to learn about the culture and I even got to make some friends! Sometimes you have to be a bit creative to think of new topics to talk about, but overall the work was fun. the school offers you the advantages of a big city but other than that it's not super interesting. You have the opportunity to do great weekend- and daytrips though! I would definitely recommend :)
