Would highly recommend. Steve was there the whole time I was there for 3 weeks and he's just an amazing person all around- also absolutely hilarious! Dawn was here for the last week and also so sweet and hilarious as well. The food was awesome and the locals in the town there are all so welcoming.

I loved my experience at the guest house!The house is beautiful, in a lovely little village surrounded by mountains. Perfect if you enjoy peace, quiet and nature. The tasks are simple and the schedule is respected, leaving plenty of time to explore the area. I'm very grateful to Dawn for giving me the opportunity to do my first volunteering experience there. She was clear and attentive from the very beginning. I'd also like to thank Steve for his generosity, respect, sense of humor, company and delicious meals! I truly had an amazing time. I highly recommend it :)

I spent two weeks here, and it was an amazing experience. The hosts are very nice and welcoming, and the whole village is friendly. I got to connect with the local culture during my free time. The assigned tasks were easy and manageable. I loved it here, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone❤️❤️❤️

I loved spending time at the guest house! The town is such a beautiful place to stay in. I really enjoyed the property and the work was so much fun. Although I never got to meet them in person, Dawn and Steve were very friendly and great on communication. I would definitely recommend!

I had an amazing experience volunteering here and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying!
The accommodation was beautiful and the surrounding nature was absolutely stunning. It was the perfect place to disconnect from everyday life. Everything you need is provided and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The other volunteers were incredible. The work was fair and well organised with just the right amount of tasks and plenty of free time.
Overall, it was an amazing first WorldPackers experience!

I loved my time spent in the guest house, the volunteer apartment is a lovely place to stay, kitchen fully equipped with anything you would need. I found the work enjoyable, mostly cleaning, house keeping and watering plants, you have plenty of free time and the work is fair. I found Dawn & Steve really nice to work with, although they were not there at my time of visit, they stayed in contact, with great communication. The village is lovely, very remote but has a pool/bar, a few restaurants and hotel which serves nice coffee, very beautiful surroundings, Ronda was a lovely day trip

I volunteered with a friend of mine for one month. We helped out for the art resorts and did some basic housekeeping tasks. The work was perfect for us and it was fun as well. A big plus, is the food! For ppl like us that skip from hostel to hostel and mainly without any food included, this was a dream! The hosts (Steve and Dawn) are the sweetest and created an amazing relax resort in the mountains. The Village is small but has everything that is needed. The nature around it is so so stunning!!!! I relay loved the experience!

I had a blast! Villaluenga is a tiny remote village full of beautiful nature. During the art retreats there is definitely more work, but you also get to enjoy all the AMAZING food. If there is no art retreat we did 1-3 hours a day, cleaning, doing laundry, etc. Dawn and Steve are good host and know what they are doing. As long as you do the work properly and respect the boundaries they set (nothing out of the ordinary) there won't be a problem. I felt welcomed and like they also wanted me to have a good experience. Thank you Dawn and Steve for having us!!!

I had a great time at the guest house! It is located in a gorgeous albeit quiet town with lots of scenic walks to do on after your shift or on your day off. The other volunteers really made the experience special! The work is relatively straight forward and can be done quickly but can be a lot when the hotel is fully booked. Just a note, that with the buses not currently running it is hard to come and go from the town so you are a little stuck there, I found this ok because I had some remote work to do in the afternoon but something to consider :)

Our experience at the guest house was very positive. Although we didn't meet the owners in person, we shared the space with another volunteer, Sonia, who was very kind and helpful. She guided us clearly, and the owners also sent detailed videos that made the tasks easy to follow. Communication was always direct, and they showed genuine care for our wellbeing and work. Our days off were respected, and all cooking ingredients were provided. Buses to nearby towns are not running due to rain damage, but Dawn and Steve kindly arranged a taxi to and from the nearest main station
