Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit auf dem Hof. Adolfo ist eine sehr freundliche Person und wir hatten zusammen viel Spaß. Ich habe viel gelernt und wurde in die Welt der Landwirtschaft sowie in die lokale Kultur eingeführt. Das Essen, das die Familie für mich zubereitet hat, war fantastisch und sie ließen mich alle Arten von Früchten probieren, die ich noch nie zuvor gegessen hatte. Dieses Freiwilligenprojekt würde ich definitiv empfehlen.

We had a great time on the finca. We only spent about 6 days there but the food was amazing and health. Lizbeth and Olbert also drove us up to rio Celeste for our day off. Would recommend if you're looking for a tranquil, Spanish immersive, and cultural experience. Thanks Lizbeth and olbert!

Had an amazing time! Lizbeth and her husband were very welcoming and kind. Liz is an excellent cook and her husband is really nice and friendly. The work load wasn't crazy probably cause they didn't have much for me to do but I still helped in any way I could. Overall I had a great peaceful time!

I had a great time at HdB, Lizbeth & Olber were so welcoming and we did a few activities to explore the area, Mt Tenorio, Rio Celeste & dance night in Bijajua(and I joined them at the Liberia market the day I arrived!). There were 3 volunteers already at the farm, so I was given the open air room off the laudry area. It was nice to be so close to nature and have the fresh air but I didn't have the privacy I was expecting since I had a sheer curtain between me and the common area(I moved into one of the other rooms once someone else left). Overall a great experience and I would love to go back

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm!!!!! We learned a lot about the finca and agriculture, both Lizbeth and Olber were very welcoming and kind, we immediately felt welcomed! The work is fair, the location is beautiful and the food is very good! In the afternoon you can walk to the nearby river or simply enjoy the view of the volcano from the terrace! On our day off, Olber took us to Parque Tenorio to see Río Celeste, a really great trip!

I had a wonderful time at the finca. You immediately feel welcome and included. The landscape there is beautiful, you learn a lot about the culture, different plants, farming and the Hosts are super nice :)

My stay at the farm was incredible. It was my first time ever volunteering, and Lizbeth & Olber sure made it great.. The tasks were achievable, such as planting, weeding, and painting around the house, for just a few hours a day. The food was traditional and always fresh. We typically had 3 meals a day with a coffee and snack. On spare time, I was able to walk to Bijuaga town (about 30min), explore locally, and view tourists attractions. Overall, the price paid was WELL worth it, and im so glad that I was able to meet the family, as they were always kind, welcoming, and happy tohelp

This farm is a beautiful, peaceful and luscious property in the town of Bijagua. During my 2 week stay I felt fully welcomed into their family and the community. The work is relaxed, and you end up with quite a bit of free time to adventure around the beautiful town and surrounding areas. We got more than enough food, three delicious meals a day. This place felt so at home, and I would highly recommend it. Just remember your bug spray and rain jacket.

The stay on the farm with Lisbeth & Olber was the best expirence on my trip. I learnd so much about local trees, vegetables fruits & of corse spanish. The food was very local, but always good an more than enough. I was very happy with my tasks. Repairing bicicle, motorcycle, chainsaw and more is my world. Sorry as I couldn't fix everything, but tools and my lnowlege were limited. My recomendation to other tävolunteers is, tell them what you can do, and they'll give you the correct tasks. It's a farm, there is always a lot to do. Thanks a lot for the excursions around rhe town, I loved it all

Lisbeth and Olber welcomed us with open arms into their home and family. Even though we didn't know each other's languages, we somehow understood each other and they were so patient with our little knowledge in Spanish (we definitely got to practice a lot!). Lisbeth's cooking is the best, she even made tea with herbs out of the garden to cure a sore throat. It was a week full of nature, Olber teaching us about the farm, good food and even getting to celebrate a family birthday together with the most welcoming and loving people. We will never forget this experience. Thank you for everything ❤️
