Wonderful people, they made feel me like a member of the family. Adolfo and his parents were very kind with me, they always tried to help me for the things I needed. It was a pleasure to learn and share with them about this beautiful country. Thanks Lisbeth too for your excellent and healthy food ! Working with Adolfo was nice, I learned a lot of things about nature out and at the finca. He's motivated and passionate about his work and it's very interesting to listen to him. Sometimes work can be a little hard but it is absolutely not a problem to switch between tasks if you tell him.

It was a great experience! Adolfo and his family made me feel part of their family, we shared some recipes, stories, we spent so much time together 💕I learned a lot about agriculture and livestock, I helped with the animals and cleaning up the land. I definitely recommend it, the house is clean and the view is amazing 😍. There are places to visit around and you can deeply connect with nature.

Our stay with Adolfo and his family was nothing short of magical. This was both our first time in Costa Rica and well as our first time volunteering with worldpackers. The family made us feel right at home from the start. Our tasks included weeding plants and generally helping around with what needed to be done. Luki, the family dog, was the perfect cherry on top of the whole experience.

Staying with Adolfo and his family greatly exceeded my expectations. What began as a volunteer opportunity quickly became a chance to be welcomed into the family. I never ate a meal alone and I learned so much about their culture. I was able to share my culture with them and they enthusiastically listened. The work was not difficult but fulfilling. There were adequate breaks and they kept us well fed and hydrated. The family went out of their way to show the volunteers local experiences. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to immerse themselves in Costa Rican culture!

Working at the farm de the farm was definitely one of my very favorite travel experiences by far!! We had so many good conversations and good jokes with the family, and the food they made us was AMAZING. I learned so much about sustainable farming, medicinal plants, and local culture. I also got to practice my Spanish so much! I am so grateful I got to be in Bijagua with this wonderful family for a whole week, and I wish we could have stayed longer!
