I had a great experience in TCH. Elena is very welcoming and often around for a chat. Erik is eager to take you the hostel or bolting in the area. The location is beautifully located between many crags. The work for me involved gardening, helping with construction, painting, when the hostel was not too busy. If it's busier, you can sometimes go the hostel with the guests. It is good to know that summer is low season in the Canary Islands, which means that there won't be as many people in the hostel compared to winter. I can only say that I was given a very warm welcome! Elena and Erik and everyone who helps out at the hostel are super nice, friendly and warm-hearted people. The work is doable and Elena is super flexible when it comes to free time. You get to know so many great and nice people and even if you are new to the hostel, the people are very welcoming and show you everything. I learned a lot and definitely had one of the best times of my life!
