77 Euro (2800 Baht) are to be paid in cash on arrival day. This fees are for food, maintaining the shelter etc. It is only a one off fee.

We are a dog shelter, where the main work is done by Malee the owner, and 1 or 2 family members. At the moment we have about 300 dogs and 30 cats. You will help at our shelter by cleaning the kennels and dog areas, feeding them, bathing and grooming the dogs, and helping cook the food for them and for you. We're looking for animal lovers that are confortable around big and small dogs and ready to help taking care and give the love the deserve!

Staying with Malee and Ken was an incredible experience. I can't tell you how much I fell in love with the dogs and how hard it was to leave. Malee makes you feel very welcome, she made us more veggie food than we could ever eat and is always checking in to make sure you're ok. The work is simple and you have lots of free time to explore the area, but there's always lots to do so you can stay as busy as you like. The main Job was giving the animals as much love as possible, which is very easy because you will love them all straight away! Thank you Malee!!

I had an amazing time at the the shelter! Malee is such a kind and caring person who really goes above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable and well fed. She spoiled us with lots of delicious local dishes + treats. The animals will steal your heart, it was so difficult to leave. The work was very simple. I wish communication was a bit more clear. Nothing was really explained (another volunteer had to figure out by herself and explain tasks to me) - I struggled with this at the start, purely because I felt I wasn't doing enough and wanted to help out more! Overall great experience!

I had the most amazing time at Marlee's the the shelter! Marlee is incredibly kind, always smiling and goes above and beyond for everyone, humans and animals alike. She cares so much for the dogs and cats and makes sure they're happy and well taken care of. She also spoiled us with more food than we could ever eat, and so many delicious Thai dishes to try. On top of that, we got to enjoy little trips to the beach and local markets, which made the whole experience even more memorable. If you love the shelter and want to be a part of a warm, caring and fun environment, this place is truly special.

I recommend this volunteer opportunity 110%! I stayed at the the shelter for a month and had an incredible experience. The dogs will steal your heart instantly! So many of them have so much love to give, so be prepared to receive and give just as much in return, haha. The tasks are pretty simple: feeding the animals once a day, cleaning your area, showering the animals, playing with them... Now, about Malee, she is an incredible person who is madly in love with her animals. I felt very welcome thanks to her ! I was extremely sad to leave and say goodbye to my dogs, but I know they're in good hands

This experience at malee the shelter was amazing. I did end up cutting my stay short to head back to the U.S. I loved being of service to the animals and helping them around in my area. Malee is so sweet and accommodating always making sure you're good, happy, and well fed. She is a great cook! The dogs steak your heart almost instantly. It was nice to have my own space to decompress. There are great places to walk by her house. It felt like a new way of living and it did take some adjusting. When my day came to leave I found myself missing it as I got on the bus. I highly recommend Malees
