The location is absolutely beautiful if you want to be immersed in nature, away from the busy city. the hostelitself also has great amenities, with plenty of areas to relax when you're not working. Scout was an amazing host, very kind, thoughtful and flexible with working hours. I would highly recommend working at the hostelif you have the chance and hopefully I'll be able to make it in the future as well.

I'm grateful for my time volunteering here. The property is in a beautiful, peaceful area ofthe hostel and is a great fit for someone who enjoys quiet, remote environments. Scout was kind and gave me plenty of independence. Since the hostelwas very quiet during my stay, there wasn't much guest-related work, so some tasks differed from the listing and varied based on what needed attention. Unfortunately, I became ill and had to leave earlier than planned. Overall, I appreciated the experience and would recommend it to someone independent, flexible, and comfortable with a quieter setting.

My time at the hostelwas truly one of my favorite months of my life. Scout is such a great guy and really cares about you and your time spent with him. The place is incredibly beautiful and has such a high quality vibe, and so it attracts really dope people to meet and mingle with every day. The work is easy and varied, usually a mix of cleaning, driving to pick up guests, and other miscellaneous tasks. Your time is gonna fly while you’re there, so just enjoy it while you can. Also, Scout is an amazing cook! However *cough cough* he’ll love you if you offer him a meal now and then🤔

I had a amazing time at Thethethethe hostel. the hostelis an unique building whit a great outdoor seating area where you can socialize, play music or just listen to the sound of the river, where you also can swim. Scout, the host is a great guy, now friend, he makes the hostelfeel like home, know everything about the hikes you can make and his breakfasts are the best ever. The work is easy, making beds and cleaning and driving to pick up the guests, so bring your drivers license. the hostelhas a great common room and is very sociable to make new friends I hope to come back soon.

Volunteering at the hostelhas truly been an amazing experience. Scout was a great host and person to talk to! I made loads of new friends while staying here as the common areas are so welcoming everyone comes out to chat. the hostelitself is in an old onsen which is awesome and it's right next to the river. The sound of the river and birds have made everything so peaceful. The work I had to do was mainly cleaning the hosteland other rooms which was super chill and everything is there for you to get on with your tasks. If I have the opportunity to come back I 100% will!

Scout was a great host, now friend. My stay was absolutely lovely, It is such a special location. Scout will genuinely care for you and make sure that you are having a good time, when I was sick he even made me dinner and he also took me to thrift shops and touristic spots on my free days. The work was light and I had a lot of free time to explore the area. I will recommend this experience to anyone.
