Had the best time volunteering. Dwey was super nice and we had a lovely group of volunteers. Did tasks where really easy and chill. Hostel is really central and you can explore the city easily.

I really enjoyed volunteering at HOJ! Had the best 3 weeks of my entire backpacking trip. The work was really straightforward and responsibilities were clearly explained. Didn't really feel like much work at all. Thank you so much for having me :)

An amazing place with true social vibes, never felt bored here. Activities every day run by volunteers, great location, beautiful city and lots of things to do in your free time. Stayed here during lunar new year and there was a lot of celebrations. The amount of work was fair and never too hard, comfy bed in a dorm with ac turned on all the time. Couldn't recommend it more!

I felt very welcomed from the very first day. Even though the owners aren't always around, Jenna, Dwey, and the cleaning ladies give all the support you need and create such a light, friendly environment. The tasks are easy and they are very flexible. Breakfast is simple but really good, and you also receive 10 RM per day at the end. The location is perfect, right on the main food and party street. My last day was unforgettable. I loved it so much — thank you for everything! 💌❤️
