Inishmore is beautiful and really nice to explore on foot or cycling (you have access to free bikes!). Plus, the hostel is close to the pier in case you ever want to take the ferry for a day trip. Helene is a very caring host, and is available in case you need her. The work is straightforward and can usually be finished in just a few hours, which gives you plenty of time to explore the island and meet new people! The volunteers share a 4-bed dorm room in the hostel, and have access to the kitchen and living room, which allows them to meet lots of interesting people visiting the island!

I had an amazing time at the hostel! This was my first worldpackers experience and it was truly wonderful. I was lucky enough to work with 4 amazing volunteers and became great friends with all of them. The work is exactly as mentioned in the description. Around 3 hours in the morning cleaning the rooms and then the rest of the day is yours! I got to bike all around the island, see beautiful sceneries, and have some fun drinks at the pub next door. Helene is so kind and helpful and really makes the experience great! I would highly recommend applying! I look forward to coming back someday!

A fantastic experience! It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have asked for anything better. A fantastic place, fantastic company and loads of fun! Recommended this place for anyone looking for peace and quiet, but also for fun and a party atmosphere amongst the locals .

I loved my experience in this hostel! It was my first worldpacker experience and I couldn't have chosen anything better. Helene is an excellent host and she will make sure you are comfortable. The work is fairly easy and is yours to organize however you want with the other volunteers. You have access to a free bike during the day so you can easily enjoy the island. I wish I stayed longer! The other volunteers were incredible and made my experience incredible! Will come back 100%.

Helene is a kind host and always available if you need help. You stay in a 4-bed dorm shared with other volunteers.
The tasks are easy and usually finished quickly. However, some days are a bit longer when there are many check-outs. You are quite autonomous in organizing your work with other volunteers, which is great.
You get free access to rental bikes, which is the best way to explore the island during your free time.

My first experience with Worldpackers. I couldn't have picked a better place to start! Helene was welcoming to me and extremely generous with staff + guests. She messaged our group chat each morning with the work to be done, but it was on us to organize ourselves and complete it. If you are team-oriented and flexible, you'll like it! After a bit of work each morning and some laundry in the afternoon, the rest of the day is yours to explore, relax, or go to to pub. The 4-bed staff room is co-ed and quite small, which can create tension, but I made great friends! I would go back in a heartbeat!
