This was my first volunteering experience through this platform, and my first time on an island, too, and it was beyond anything I could have imagined. The work was straightforward and not complicated at all. The working hours were respected, some days were longer, while others were shorter, depending on the number of check-outs. We had everything we needed, and even more! After work, we had plenty of time to explore the island. I had the chance to meet other amazing volunteers and local people. If you're looking for a place to slow down and reconnect with nature, don't hesitate to apply!

Inishmore is beautiful and really nice to explore on foot or cycling (you have access to free bikes!). Plus, the hostel is close to the pier in case you ever want to take the ferry for a day trip. Helene is a very caring host, and is available in case you need her. The work is straightforward and can usually be finished in just a few hours, which gives you plenty of time to explore the island and meet new people! The volunteers share a 4-bed dorm room in the hostel, and have access to the kitchen and living room, which allows them to meet lots of interesting people visiting the island!

I had an amazing time at the hostel! This was my first worldpackers experience and it was truly wonderful. I was lucky enough to work with 4 amazing volunteers and became great friends with all of them. The work is exactly as mentioned in the description. Around 3 hours in the morning cleaning the rooms and then the rest of the day is yours! I got to bike all around the island, see beautiful sceneries, and have some fun drinks at the pub next door. Helene is so kind and helpful and really makes the experience great! I would highly recommend applying! I look forward to coming back someday!

My experience at Kilronan hostel was amazing. It was my first worldpackers volunteering and Helene is a great host. From the hostel to the locals, pubs and nature, everything and everyone is beautiful and so welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone 🥰
