I love my experience in Ireland! Derek was very helpful and really helped me improve both in my work and with my English. The work is varied, and the farm is located in one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas of Ireland. Derek is always available to listen and help with the work, and I've learned a lot over these past few months. Beyond work, I had time to go sightseeing on weekends and visited some of Ireland's most beautiful spots by bus. The farm is accessible by bus, and Derek was always willing to give me a lift to and from the stop. If you love nature, it's the ideal place!

It was a really fun experience, Derek is really nice and understanding. The farm is a bit isolated, but there are busses, and Derek also took us to places some times. I would say it's worth trying out.

Shout out to Derek who was a great host. He was incredibly flexible and often went out of his way to ensure us volunteers had a good time. He frequently communicated his appreciation for our work. I'm docking one point for overall cleanliness which I felt could have been improved upon. Things could also get chaotic at times, so an open mind was definitely a prerequisite. Overall a good experience, and I really felt like I made a difference in the month I was there.

Go for it if you research new experiences. It wasn't so bad to be alone in the mobile home's farm. You can see through the window the see and the mountains, that's what really matters for me. To be honest it deserves 4,5 out of 5 stars due to the cleanliness in the mobile home. But it's ok you can survive ;) Thank you Derek for your patience and kindness.

The surrounding landscape is very beautiful, really a surreal location. There is alot of work to do on the farm. Would recommend the experience.
