My time at the shelter was just amazing, I didn't see any turtles but I was able to see so much wildflife, the activities are super challenging but fun and I felt very useful, I made some amazing Friends and felt very good living in the camp :) thank you for this opportunity ! Big shoutout to the staff especially Dany and his mom

The shelter is a truly beautiful place with incredible wildlife. Patri and Hernan were really welcoming and friendly and the volunteering was a great opportunity to learn more about the animals, nature, costarican culture and improve Spanish. I am really grateful for this experience and would absolutely recommend it!

I had a wonderful experience in the shelter. It's a very remote place from the city, but you can enjoy the camp and do activities with the other volunteers. The staff was very welcoming. I recommend coming here to experience the jungle.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering here! The team was super nice, I made great friends, connected with nature, saw lots of animals, and the food was DELICIOUS! The project is meaningful and not only about turtles. During my stay, there were no turtles due to beach conditions — I knew this could happen, but some volunteers didn't and felt disappointed. It would be nice to make this clearer so people come with the right expectations, because the experience is still amazing even without turtles!
