Luiza and Marcelo are both really dedicated to the work they do, and I'm so grateful to them for their energy and guidance, especially while I am still learning Portuguese. The high season in Ubatuba can be very intense, and their expectations were communicated clearly before I arrived. At times, this felt more like a normal work dynamic than what I expected from a volunteering experience, but I am so thankful for the time I had getting to know the rest of the volunteers, who have become like family 💛

During the month i spent in Ubatuba, i got to know a lot of beautiful beaches and i had unforgettable experiences. I thank Luiza and Marcelo for accepting me as part of the hostel staff. The owners are really present in the hostel, they are hard workers and they put a lot of dedication on training you for the job. Working hours are used very efficiently, and the owners have high expectations for volunteers. What i thank the most about the experience is the people i met. The owners gathered an amazing team of volunteers. We worked really well together and it felt like we were a family🥰🥰

I hade a lovely experience at the hostel. Marcelo and Luiza were excellent hosts and made me feel at home from the beginning. The work was mostly easy and shifts were flexible. I highly recommend the hostel!

This was my second stay at the hostel and I love every second of it. The vibe and the people are so nice that you never feel out of place or that you don't belong. Communication is very open and expectations are communicated to you very clearly. the hostel is the kind of place where you don't want to leave because you're scared of missing something. Thanks Luiza and Marcelo for always making me feel at home.

Marcelo and Luiza are incredible and I am so glad that my first Worldpackers experience was at the hostel! They made me feel very welcome and they go to extra effort to make sure that it is a safe and comfortable environment. They choose volunteers and guests very meticulously to ensure that the energy and vibe of the hostel is kept. I would encourage anybody who enjoys the beach and a chilled vibe to pass by the hostel. I will be back!
