The Experience

Our organic farm is a Sustainable Living Project initiated by a small group of people in Thailand. It is run by Pinan Jim (who was a Buddhist Monk for 16 years) and his wife Pinan Tea Kumsrisom who own the 10 acres where the project take place. Here you can learn about sustainable agriculture, organic farming, forest survival, meditation, medicinal plants, cooking and so much more.

Had an amazing experience at the eco village. Unfortunately Pinan Jim was sick most of my stay here but his uncle Pinan Vet took care of me and the rest of the volunteers, making us feel very welcomed and at home. I learnt so much about agriculture, cooking, building and Thai culture. The overall experience was more than I expected and I'm very grateful. Will definitely be returning in the future!

An incredible experience. Me and the other volunteers were super well received and felt right at home. The work is fun and rewarding, the food is mouthwatering and the locals are the sweetest people you can get to meet. Pro tip: When english isn't understood, smiles and gestures get you far. Above it all, the kindness felt in this experience makes it very easy to love Lanna culture, and to feel as if we're taking a bit of it with us in our hearts. A huge hug to everyone in the Pinan family and I hope we get to meet again sometime and share more stories together!

It was such a good experience. As Pinan Jim was sick, the uncle helped look after us and he was amazing. We helped teach him some english and had many laughs. Really opened my eyes to permaculture and what's all about. Don't forget to bring your own toilet paper :)
