My stay at the farm was absolutely amazing, I got taken care of by Lance and his mother like family❤️. Slowing down from busy life at the farm with amazing views and in the meanwhile learning about how the farm is farmed and processed first hand. I would 100% recommend taking some time out of your trip to go to the farm!

We had such an incredible time on the farm. We helped pick the farm fruit, gardening tasks and cuddling the many dogs. They organised for us to do many other activities other than working too. For example visiting the local town, other the farm farms to see how the farm is processed, a roastery, and also a tour at a local the farm museum. The views on the farm were insane! They even gave us some the farm to takeaway with us - it tastes incredible. The owner of the farm was one of the warmest and most generous people I've ever met. We can't thank them enough for this experience.

What a beautiful farm! A very hospitable family, they made lots of effort to make me feel welcome and at home. It was only a small amount of work so perfect if you're looking for a place to unwind. be aware that the family are extremely strict on safety. you can't leave the farm alone and if u want to walk 5 mins around the farm you have to take a knife and a dog. personally it seemed like a very nice friendly small village - similar to all the others i've solo travelled to in colombia. However, the host was very anxious about everything which made the experience much less enjoyable:(

Thank you for your feedback. As our farm is in a remote area, we take safety seriously. The dog and the knife were optional precautions, not signs of danger. The town is safe, but we advise against walking alone. It is unfortunate that measures meant to protect you were seen negatively. We hope you also remember our hospitality: US$1,000 worth of coffee seeds, gourmet coffee to enjoy after leaving the farm, and our complimentary visit to La Recuka Park.

La Camila is a truly beautiful place. My time there was very good. I learned about nature, I learned about the farm making process, and above all, I learned about the culture of the people who live there. I also connected with people from other parts of the world. I definitely recommend it and I hope more volunteers can have the same experience as me.

Gracias gracias gracias 🌿☀️
