If you want to learn about Australian hospitality, meet great people and fellow travelers, and explore the Blue Mountains, this is the place to be! My partner and I started our Australian adventure here and we're so glad we chose the guest house. The team is great and the location is amazing, with walking tracks nearby and easy public transport. The current Worldpackers pictures are a little outdated, and it wasn't very clean when we arrived. Hopefully this improves for future volunteers, as the experience is definitely worth it! ❤️

Hi there fellow travelers, When you come in to the place it could be a bit overwhelming and you could feel maby a bit alone if the guest house is empty. But when you start working with the staff that will change in an instant. Me & Tanne stayed with them for 1 month and have had a very welcoming experience in the blue mountains. Everyone has there own character and is really easy going. Communication is alright and the food is good. The nature is great and they will help you out with tips on where to go! You will have a good time and a nice experience! Shoutout to the kitchen staff!!! ✌️

Had a lovely time at the guest house! The team was super friendly, the apartment was great, and the food was delicious. Honestly would've stayed longer than a month if I could. The town is quaint with lots of opportunities to explore and Sydney is an easy train ride away.

I recommend this volunteering experience. Leura is beautiful and peaceful, and the guest house is in a great location. On some busy days, I felt a little overwhelmed by the number of tasks, but the staff were amazing, very patient with me, and always willing to help. The experience was also a great opportunity to practise my English and feel more comfortable interacting with customers.

I had a fabulous time at the guest house! Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. The work, waiting tables and running drinks, was fun and enjoyable. Leura was a lovely place to live and explore the blue mountains from.

I really enjoyed my time at the guest house. John and the team were very welcoming and explained the work and tasks clearly, allowing me to get the most out of my experience. As a first experience working in hospitality I felt very supported and was able to gain my confidence quickly. The restaurants location was perfect! It allowed me to fully explore the majority of the blue mountains during days off and I feel like it was definitely a stop I would have regretted not making.

My time at the guest house was incredible! The team is so kind and fun and the work environment is very relaxed. The location is absolutely stunning and the accommodation is so cozy! There is plenty of time off to explore the Blue Mountains and surrounding towns and it is easily accessible without a car. If you have any questions with anything they are always there to help and make sure you are all good. This was my first ever volunteering experience and I loved it! From day one, John and his team were so nice and friendly, making the stay very pleasant. I learned a lot from them and consistently felt a great sense of teamwork throughout the shifts. The house where we stayed is cute and cozy, and the other volunteers I lived with were truly amazing people. the guest house's location right next to the train station is very convenient. Also, there are many stunning hikes that you can reach within a 20 minute walk. I loved every part of my stay and I hope to come back one day!
