This was my first world packers experience and also my first time in Asia! Everybody at the homestay was very friendly and enthusiastic and I enjoyed exploring Hanoi and the surrounding areas - such a beautiful place. Thank you for letting me stay and work with you!

I loved staying at the Balalaika Homestay. The students are extremely nice and they really want to learn. We always had a lot of fun in the classes :-) If you are looking for a place where you can learn a lot about vietnamese culture, meet awesome people and a place where you leave with the feeling that you could help: This is the place! For the weekends Tony organizes events for the teachers/students. So it's not just work, it is a lot of fun too! If you can: Stay longer than just one week, it is definitely worth it! Thank you so much for let me stay at your place and see you next year! ;-)

Hi ClaudiA, come back soon! :)
she helped us for nearby 3 weeks. She is a decisive, enthusiastic and smart person with a lots of different skills. She is friendly, open-mind to everyone and a hard working volunteer.
We and our students highly appreciate her teaching. Her lessons always full of energy, laughing and useful information. Not only help us teaching very well. but also helpful with her thinking for the student's rules. ClaudiA is a so nice girl who is very close to Vietnam cultural.
She love using a bowl and chopstick for every meal.
Honestly, her is a very good volunteer

I had an amazing experience in the Balalaika homestay. The students are easy-going and kind and the managers do a great job, always ensuring your comfort and worrying about you. For example I am vegetarian and they arranged everything to make sure I would get food and not go hungry, I really appreciated that. I also enjoyed giving the classes, since the students are dedicated and hard-working, it did not feel like I was working at all. During my 4 week stay, I had lots of time to visit the city and know more about Vietnamese culture, as well as making great friends! I would stay again!

He was supported for us teaching English to both our kid and adult' classes, house work and others works in our program in Hanoi centre.

All his classes had full energy, funny and helpful.
