It was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers, and I must admit that at first I was a little insecure. But the place is so welcoming and receptive that this insecurity soon passed! Adri and Matheus, the hostel owners, were extremely hospitable and made us feel very comfortable during the entire stay.
The tasks were arranged calmly, and both the guests and the other volunteers were kind, funny, and upbeat. It was a very pleasant experience; it was hard to leave after forming bonds with everyone. I hope to return one day and reconnect with everyone 💛

My experience in Garopaba was very beautiful. Being there in the off-season, it was a very quiet stay and I could enjoy and have a lot of free time! The tasks are simple and the hosts are very communicative regarding what needs to be done. Adri and Matheus are wonderful people and from the first day they made me feel at home, I really recommend visiting Pedramarca, the facilities are very comfortable and the best thing is the beach just a few meters from the inn. I'm sure I'll return! Thank you!!

An incredible experience at the hostel! The inn is beautiful and has an ideal location on the beach, super close to the sea, surfing climate and family-friendly, a plus: the city offers free bus between the other cities or nearby beaches. The hosts, Adri and Matheus, are friendly and very communicative from the first moment. The cleaning tasks that I had were very simple, which allowed me to have energy to know and enjoy the place before or after my shift. I matched with volunteers who were very friendly. Highly recommended! I would return to enjoy the sun and nature

My stay at the hostel was MARVELLOUS. The tasks are well distributed and organized. I could take yoga classes, go on hikes, and I also made amazing friends. The place has a very good energy and the hosts are great, friendly and polite❤️✨️. I stayed for a month and I will definitely return. Oh, and it's very close to the beach which is paradise 🩵

Well, it was my first volunteering experience, I was very well received, a magical place. I booked for 15 days, but I would have stayed much longer. Even with some limitations such as a fear of heights, the hostel was understanding and I felt welcomed being there. I practiced Spanish, took surf and yoga classes. My experience was wonderful and I’m already planning to come back. Thank you Adri and Matheus and everyone involved in this wonderful trip! 🌊☀️🏝️

Fantastic experience, we were very well welcomed and guided by Matheus, Adri and the volunteers present, and also by Ema and Billy, the hostel's cats☺️ there we had many exchanges and connections with guests and volunteers, the atmosphere has a very good energy and a connection with nature. Around the hostel we did many cool activities and also with the team there, such as surfing! If I can give a tip for anyone about to go to this amazing Pedra marca experience, I would only recommend stopping at a market before arriving in Ferrugem, because there things are quite expensive haha

This is a model example of how all volunteering experiences should work! An experience that everyone should have someday! I stayed a short time, but we felt so at ease there that I would stay for months!
It's the perfect place for proactive volunteers, because there we have space and we can exercise our creativity in all forms!
The freedom we have to flow both in the activities and outside of working hours makes it all worthwhile! In addition to the place's kittens, who are absolutely adorable!
We formed beautiful friendships and connections with other colleagues and guests 🥰
