I spend wonderful days at Erica's project. We did construction and cleaning tasks, worked with wood and did some paintings. The place is quite and you can sleep outside. The surrounding is very nice to discover by bike or foot, waterfalls and rainforest. Also there is a swimming pool you can use. Erica is a very open-hearted person and makes you feel at home - I can totally recommend this volunteering! :)

It was such a good experience, be able to conect with nature and with my self, meeting a new culture, foreigners and get out from a technological world, where many times we forget that humans beings we are a part of the nature.

Matรญas, it was a joy to welcome you. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’•

I was very happy to hear that this experience enabled your reconnection with nature, with yourself, and with new cultures. This is exactly the purpose of Vida Plena: to remember that we are part of nature and that it is in it that we also find ourselves again.

Thank you for your presence, for your care, respect, and genuine exchange during your stay. The doors will always be open for you.

Come back anytime! ๐Ÿ’ž๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿ’•

Our time at Projeto ร‰va was short but filled with joy. Erica made us feel like part of the family from day 1. We were fed well and she was attentive to our needs when it was too hot or when she thought we needed food or water. We had to leave unexpectedly but it was made clear that we are welcome back anytime. The timing of our stay was not ideal for us or the hosts but I believe that under different circumstances our stay would have been fruitful! I highly recommend staying here!! โค๏ธ

My experience at this volunteer was very good and satisfactory. The place is pure nature and you learn a lot about the sustainability. Erika was so nice and helped me and all the volunteers a lot, I had a great time and I learned a lot of Portuguese. Language barrier ainโ€™t a problem here, the locals try to help you and are very nice and Erika takes care of you. I definitely recommend this place if you want to enjoy of the nature and meet kind brazilian guys.

The time I spent volunteering at this project was so perfect. I felt so centred and peaceful afterwards. The work was fun and rewarding, the food was delicious and the people were wonderful. Erica gives so much and is so welcoming and sensitive. Days we weren't working she would take around to see the sights nearby , introducing us to people and letting us sleep in her home. Beautiful time.

I spent two weeks at Project the community and it was an amazing experience. From the first day on, it felt like being part of a family. The atmosphere was welcoming, supportive, and full of positive energy. I learned a lot, felt appreciated, and would recommend this project to anyone looking for a meaningful exchange.

You're very young, but you carry incredible wisdom.
It's easy to work with you, proactive and attentive: everything that's asked of you, you do with presence and care.
With your own hands, you assembled and stitched a stunning upholstery, revealing sensitivity, meticulousness and dedication.
Always willing, you helped other volunteers with their tasks, showing team spirit and generosity.
You're curious, learn quickly, and you have the sparkle in your eyes of someone who really wants to grow.
I loved having you on the project.
Hope you come back soon.

I had a great time there. The hostess is an excellent cook and very helpful. The chores were respected. Some cleaning was lacking, which is understandable given the location. The cat relieved itself on my bed. The next day, it was on the bed next to mine (the smell lingered, and they didn't clean it up for two days). The only downside was that it said there was Wi-Fi, but there wasn't. Overall, my experience was positive (it's a shame about the lack of Wi-Fi).

I didn't understand the three-star rating, because during your stay everything seemed fine. The kittens weren't ours; they came from the street and followed you. I also explained that I was taking care of my son after a motorcycle accident. On the day the kittens dirtied the room next door, it was my day off and I wasn't present. Upon arriving, I cleaned. I was sad because, personally, you told me everything was fine, but the criticisms only appeared in the review.

This is a good learning experience in agroecological farming, especially for people who may be beginning their journey of understanding in the principles of permaculture and agroforestry. Erica welcomed us with a very open and caring energy, is very intentional in treating everyone with respect, with clear communication, and has genuine care for the wellbeing and happiness of volunteers and people in general. It was really wonderful to learn about the important community work she does with the movement of small farmers and be a part of it a few times during our stay! Many beautiful memories :)

This volunteering experience marked a new chapter in my life. After a month living at Erica's site, I learned a lot from her philosophy about nature and people.โค๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ 1. For Erica, the most important thing are her volunteers. She only gives you tasks that you like and can do. If you don't like an activity, she changes it. 2. The best: nature. There are incredible animal species and plants that are very varied. ๐Ÿ’ 3. The site is a humble place where there is everything you need, nothing more. Except for the Wi-Fi (there is a zone with a connection but far from the house) I did not miss anything.๐Ÿ‘
